Mel was awesome! She tailored the tour specifically for us! She recommended we purchase our Stonehenge tickets prior to our trip, so I bought them online immediately to guarantee us entrance. Mel even sent the link to download the self guided audio tour ahead of time, so we wouldn’t waste time at the monument. The morning of our tour, Mel met us in the lobby of our hotel and off we headed to Stonehenge. As she dove, Mel told us about the area and it history. At Stonehenge she took us through the skip the line que, as she is a member, and held our place in line as we looked around the museum before catching the bus up to see the stones. We had plenty of time to explore Stonehenge and the museum afterwards. A truly wonderful day! I highly recommend you book any tour with Mel!
The transportation service was wonderful. Melanie promptly appeared at our hotel in Southampton then drove the six of us in her van back and forth to Stonehenge. She provided information along the way about what we saw out our windows. She gave us each a bottle of water and sent me her own personal photos of Salisbury Cathedral which we could only see slightly from the car as we passed it. (We didn't purchase a package that included the cathedral). The six of us split the cost so that it was a little over $200 each which was probably more than taking the train would have been but the convenience was worth it.
