The most fabulous tourguide you can imagine
Daniel Hancock is an outstanding tourguide - he can transform dull history into funny and most entertaining tidbits, knows the gorgeous and fascinating places in the area, at the same time avoids crowds... Daniel has an enormous knowledge without overly displaying it, a great sense of humour and contageously light-hearted way. He has also recommended the truly best places to eat out in Bath. In a nutshell - it was a fabulous and enriching experience to spend an afternoon in the Cotswolds with Daniel. Thank you ever so much!

Highly recommended for a completely engaging experience
We took two tours with Daniel, visiting the south Cotswolds and Wells. Daniel is the perfect combination of very personable and extremely knowledgeable. A few things made the tours special, including the depth of Daniel's knowledge (I'm impressing by British literature-loving friends with my knowledge of misericords!), his love of nature, and his kindness. We were a particular challenge, as one of us has significant mobility issues. He did a great job of modifiying our activities and keeping both of us engaged, e.g., touring the Wells Cathedral gardens with me while my less-mobile friend fed the ducks.
Daniel was also terrific at giving us suggestions for additional activities in Bath and we had a lot of fun taking his advice.

VIP experience
We took the South Cotswolds tour today. Daniel was fantastic. We felt like V.I.Ps.
He picked delightfully picturesque locations to stop and explained the history, architecture and folklore of each village. He’s a safe driver and we were thankful we didn’t rent a car and attempt a DIY experience.
Daniel adds to the explanations with photos, books, and videos on his iPad. You can tell that giving his guests a 5-star experience is a passion.
We will be recommending him and taking another of his tours when we return to the area. If you’re deciding between tours, just stop and book Daniel.
