Soba making experience
Mr. Takenori Fujiwara, who guided us through the class, was very attentive and pleasant. Learning about the process of making our own soba noodles, and then getting to enjoy them at the end, made the experience especially enjoyable. It was a lovely and memorable class.

Wonderfully yummy!
It was a wonderful experience. I have tried to make 100% buckwheat noodles at home and failed but this class was fantastic in its instruction. Take is an excellent instructor and the result of our noodles in the class- I tasted and it was sooo yummy! Much better than store bought noodles. I highly recommend this class.

Making 100% buckwheat soba is actually very challenging, but you did a perfect job in the class. I completely agree—nothing beats the taste of freshly made soba over store-bought ones!
You mentioned that you plan to mill the buckwheat flour yourself with a mill at home. That is a wonderful challenge, though it makes the process even more difficult! However, now that you have your beautiful new Soba-kiri bōchō (soba cutting knife), I know you can do it. If you ever have any questions or get stuck while practicing at home, please feel free to contact me anytime. I am always here to help!

Soba-making experience
It was my first soba making experience!︎
I was worried because I was clumsy, but they taught me very clearly and carefully, and I was able to do it better than I thought ❣️
I think I'll take this opportunity to get into soba making.

It was soooo excited experience to making Soba noodles.
The master, Fujiwara is very kind and assisting us with a step by a step. So all of us can make excellent soba noodles.
The master prepared buckwheat, which made in Hokkaido and the sauce by his own recipe.
He explained us about “real manner of tea ceremony” and making fresh soba noodles as supper before drinking matcha can be a part of omotenashi by the host for “real tea ceremony”.
It was a great time to learn about Japanese culture through making soba noodles.
If you are looking for something special in Kyoto, this is the one for you!

A Unique Soba-Making Experience in Kyoto
Are you looking for a unique experience in Kyoto, away from the crowds? Then I highly recommend this one!
It’s also very easy to access—just about 15 minutes by train from Kyoto Station.
It was my first time making soba, but the instructor was incredibly kind and taught everything very carefully, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
The freshly made soba had a wonderful aroma and tasted absolutely delicious.
I also found the stories and insights about Kyoto very interesting, so I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who wants to truly feel and connect with Japan through a hands-on activity.

Real Soba making experience
It was sooo exciting to making soba noodle!!
The master Fujiwara taught us a step by step, so we never got wrong. We could make an excellent soba.
The master prepared us a tasty sauce on his recipe.
The place is located in hidden place near the famous Zen temple, Myoshinji. The place is very beautiful and special with zen atmosphere.
Startlingly recommend, you should try!

It was the first soba-making experience of my life, but it was very delicious and moving
Is it because they use good buckwheat flour? It was the first soba I had ever made in my life, but it was so delicious and I was impressed. The way of teaching was also polite and it was a very good time.
My first soba making experience was so much fun!
It is also good to be able to eat your own soba 👍
The soup stock was delicious and it was a great experience.
