It was great to have our own boat with just our family, and they accommodated what we wanted to do (which was snorkel by El Arco and Pelican Rock. Weather was 90⁰. Water was warm enough we didn't need wetsuits (but they brought them just in case). They even had a little wetsuit for my 2 year old grand daughter. She didn't like the mask, but she got in and swam in the ocean for the first time in her life. Morgane was a knowledgeable guide and pointed out cool sea creatures in the rocks and reef. All around relaxing day. Even went for a ride to see Jeff Bezos cliff mansion. Ha ha! We felt like we got our money's worth. Great day!

We had a fantastic trip with Cabo Private Guide. Xo and Miguel assured that we had a wonderful and safe experience. After snorkeling with Cabo Private Guide I can’t imagine going on one of the typical group tours. Our multi-generational family of ten had the boat completely to ourselves, which allowed us to stay on our own schedule. Xo was great in the water and showed us lots of things we would have missed on our own. Miguel deftly handled the boat and positioned us for some great photos at the arch. They were very accommodating of one of our family members who chose not to snorkel. We would definitely go out with them again.

We chose Cabo Private Guide because we wanted a private guide for our inexperienced party, and because they had a 5 star rating on Google (which was quite impressive). They were as good as advertised. Our guides, Dario and Xo, were awesome, our captains were awesome (even taking us to see a breaching humpback), and all of the staff that we interacted with were awesome. We have already recommended them to friends.

I was in a shared boat with Cabo Private Guide, their instructors are extremely professional and very well prepared, they have female wet suits in all the sizes which makes them inclusive. Definitely a 5 star dive center, they are awesome!

Excellent experience with our tour guide Angelica, who made sure we had the best experience possible. We did the private snorkel tour and it was lovely having the boat to ourselves. Angelica was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and friendly. We had the privilege of encountering sea lions, which were hilariously friendly, swimming right up to us. We even spotted a school of rays! That was extremely unexpected, and Angelica made sure we saw them before they escaped into the deep. Overall, it was an awesome experience and I would not hesitate to book again.

We took a private snorkel tour at Dec 23rd and it was a very disappointing experience. First of all - the description clearly says that we'll be visiting 2 snorkel sites, 1 in the corridor and another in Marina area. We did just one in the tourist corridor. The guide didn't actually guide us, just tell us that this is the reef, go ahead and swim. I would expect some help in tracking the fish etc. At least this is what I've seen in all my previous snorkeling experiences. What was the point to pay for a private tour if we got less attention or interaction then you usually get for grouped tour? Another thing - we supposed to get a souvenir photos, however I haven't seen our guide making any underwater pictures of us or photos of fish. I don't recommend this experience since you are not getting what you have paid for.
Following this unusual negative review of our personalized services (which we haven't received anything less than 5 stars for in over 3 years on TA) We have investigated all aspects of the tour with the guide and captain and have come to the following conclusions: 1. Your guide is one of our most eperienced, professional and thorough team members. She was surprised to read the review here as she was under a very different impression that the tour was (in her words) 'excellent'. 2. The boat went to both areas, but you preferred to watch whales for some of the tour and this takes up a lot of your allotted in-water time. 3. We have recently excluded underwater photos and videos from the tour and in the description it explains you may still request the guide to take a basic underwater camera. We have limited cameras for free photos and Christmas is busy, so unfortunately it is first come, first served. Going forward we will be more careful to explain that and we could have provided this information in a clearer way. We do apologize for that. 4. We pride ourselves on adapting to our guest's preferences. With the guide, you chose to watch whales for some of the tour (normally a much more expensive private tour). Our tour is advertised as 3 hours and this amount of time was as promised. 5. It's difficult to believe you would receive less attention than in a shared situation. The guide was focused on you and said she Identifed many fish species that you saw in the water. 6. She did mention you both seemed unhappy for the duration of the experience and sat facing away from her for most of the time. But you seemed very happy when the whales were breaching and it was mutually decided that this was how you preferred to spend the time. We would like to share in your disappointment as we do not like to hear that you have not enjoyed your time with us. We will strive to improve our communitcation about underwater photos, but we do believe that we sufficiently manage expectations when wild life encounters are concerned. Our private tours only change according to what's advertised with your agreement and perimission on the rare and lucky occasion that there is some bucket-list, breath-taking event of nature taking place instead - like yesterday afternoon! And we do hope we helped you to enjoy that aspect of the tour. If you would like to contact the office we would be happy to share with you some of our high print-quality images of tropical fish and humpback whales to take home as a souvenir.
This was an important trip for our family. It was also our first time to Los Cabos. From my first inquiry on tours, to the completion of ours, I was nothing short of impressed! Same goes for the other diver and snorkelers in my family. The entire team @ Cabo Private Guide went above and beyond to help ensure every detail was addressed for setting up our half-day private tour of the coastline. We knew were in good hands well before we left the marina. We could not have had a better time out over and under the water. Definitely hoping to return!! Happy for anybody fortunate enough to get there before us. If we did not have to travel 2500 to get there, we would go snorkeling/divining with nobody else!
