I had such a great time! Lacerda was very knowledgeable and personable! The vineyards was gorgeous and the wine was incredible - we actually ended up ordering quite a bit of wine from one of the vineyards. The lunch was quite delicious and the riverboat tour was a fun change of pace! 10/10 experience, thank you Lacerda!

Oh my goodness what a glorious day! Miguel as an excellent driver, your guide, and knowledgeable tour guide! We learned so much during our day and Miguel expertly handled the steep and windy roads of the Duoro Valley! We enjoyed our first stop in the town of Amarante to walk, have a snack, take in the history, and take photos. We then head to a beautiful lookout of the valley to take pictures and learn more about the area. We head to the first winery Santa Julia to sample 3 wines and then have a DELICIOUS 3 course lunch! We then head to the river for an enjoyable river cruise and a sample of port wine. After that we stopped at another beautiful outlook before heading to the next winery Rumo Silvestre. There we sampled 3 wines and a rare white port. All throughout the trip Miguel provided us with history and his love for the area was evident. We had the most fabulous day and enjoyed meeting the other people in our group. The van only held 8 people and we loved that they picked us up at our hotel. We highly recommend this tour!

I had the best time with Anna as our tour guide! Her smile and positive energy made the experience so pleasant. I was picked up on time, had a delightful lunch, cruised down the Douro river, and drank some amazing wine. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Great tour and amazing guide!

Mixed reviews for this tour. The positives included the tour guide, who was knowledgeable and so friendly. The 2nd of the vicars we visited was interesting, friendly and the wine was excellent. The mess good elements included the first vineyard which felt unwelcoming and the person from their was shall say blunt at best! This is also where we had the lunch provided as part of the trip. The included potato soup, a pork stew with potato, which was more fat that meat and some kind of still frozen desert. The boat tour on the Duro was a waste of time on a small boat with a noisy engine and nothing really to see compared to other parts of the river.

Ana was a realtor nice tour guide, right on time at our appartment, very kind and flexible. She really told us a lot about the country and the history of port wine. She was a great chauffeur and I would most definitely pick her again!

We were picked up at our Airbnb by Fred and were off to a fabulous day. Our family included 5 adults, a 3-year-old, and a 9-month-old. The ride to the Douro Valley was beautiful. We enjoyed a fun river cruise and met some nice folks on the cruise. The cruise was very kid friendly. Then we visited two wineries and had a nice lunch with wine. The wines and ports were delicious and fun. The estates were gorgeous. We learned about the region and about port from Fred, the boat guides Bruno and Kalil, and the staff at the two wineries we visited. Fred was wonderful! We recommend him as a guide. Bruno and Kalil were also fun and informative. The tour was very organized so that everything was timed perfectly. The winery staff were very kind and accomodated our baby very well. Take this tour--you won't be disappointed.

We had a great experience in the Duoro Valley with Carlos. He was very informative and kept it fun. If you're thinking about booking, just do it!
