Esta obra de arte cativante retrata dois glóbulos fracturados que se assemelham a engrenagens de máquinas complexas, simbolizando a natureza complexa e frágil do mundo moderno. Leo is a funny and good tour guide, hope to see him next time!
Good experience. The only criticism was that there were two different addresses on where to go to get to the tour that caused issues.
Plan on longer than the 3 hours. We stayed almost 5 hours and could have stayed longer. So many interesting things to see.
Very happy that we booked the skip the line tickets. It was an extremely crowded, but seeing the Sistine Chapel made it worth it!
Everything went well. We were given the tickets and instructions on how to go to the Vatican museums for our self guided tour. I received the voucher shortly after making reservation. My only complaint is that there was information listed in the initial email stating that I was to stop at a disclosed redemption location in order to receive my tickets BEFORE going to meeting place. I was quite confused since that info did not appear in any of the subsequent emails. To their credit, I did reach out to city wonders and received a prompt reply stating that was not necessary. That information should be removed from your initial email since it is quite confusing.
Leo was an excellent tour guide full of interesting information. He took care of his group even with an abundance of people in attendance at the Vatican. What a blessing to have done this tour. With from Texas❤️
Leo is THE MAN...best tour guide ever. I had a great day.
When we arrived at the meeting point we were intercepted by a rogue ticket guy who convinced us our group had left. He led us to another sales office a couple blocks away before we realised it was a scam. Of course, we weren’t part of a group anyway, but hadn’t had a chance to realise he was a rogue. We found out legitimate host late for our time slot, but she helped us out and we enjoyed the tour. Full marks to the host for helping us!
The organisation and information in the lead up to the visit was excellent. The organisers who met us at the Museum were efficient and courteous. Skipping the line (despite the crowds) was great. The big disappointment was the audio guide provided as part of the ticket - it was poor. I understand that the Museum is vast, and it would be impossible to include commentary on everything, but I strongly recommend getting another audio guide rather than relying on this one if you want to have a well informed tour. Given the cost of the tickets, we should have received far better.
Dear Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We are delighted to hear that you were pleased with the organization of your visit and the skip-the-line service. We are sorry, however, that the audio guide did not meet your expectations. Your comments are greatly appreciated and will be shared with our team as we continue working to improve the overall experience for our guests.
This tour delivers what it says - a skip-the-line ticket with a (subpar) audio guide. The price is extraordinary compared to what the Vatican Museum’s own website charges, just 20 euro for an individual ticket, which still gets you into the Online Ticket / “skip-the-line” fast entrance. And the Vatican Museum has MUCH better and far more thorough audio guides available for rent for only 8 euro (look for the audio guide desk at the top of the stairs right before you enter the galleries). The only advantage to buying your ticket via Viator is that you’ll need to buy weeks in advance from the Vatican Museum’s own website; they only sell a limited number of online tickets and they sell out far in advance. The price that tour operators charge here on Viator is extraordinary, which leads one to believe they are buying group tickets in bulk and then charging an extraordinary markup. If you’re making a last-minute plan and price is no object, Viator is a fine option, but next time I’ll plan ahead and simply buy via MuseiVaticani.com. The museum itself is PHENOMENAL! Don’t miss the Etruscan galleries, which include Pre-Roman artifacts (some of the oldest in the museum), and were practically empty when we walked through. The Pinacoteca also should not be missed. We spent six hours going at a relaxed pace, using the museum’s audio guide, and only covered half of what is on display. We also had a lovely lunch at the bistro in the Pine courtyard. There are several coffee shops and restaurants onsite so if you have the luxury of a full day, then arrive early, eat onsite (they even have breakfast options), ignore the frenetic pace of the tourist groups rushing madly through, and enjoy this beautiful collection.
Dear Diane_L, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your visit to the Vatican Museums and appreciated the incredible collections on display. We understand your comments regarding pricing. Tickets on Viator include reserved admission secured through an authorized reseller, often providing availability when official tickets have already sold out. While prices may differ from those available directly through the Vatican, they reflect this added convenience and availability. We appreciate your feedback regarding the audio guide and will take your comments into consideration as we continue to improve our guests' experience. Thank you again for sharing your insights.
