The visit was beautiful, very well explained, and Mr. Danilo was very competent; unfortunately, he arrived 15 minutes late, which is why I give three stars.
A palace was an interesting experience and nice to see. I really did not need skip the line tickets. It was not busy and I could’ve walked right up to the ticket office and purchased the tickets.
Wonderful palace, beautiful decor. An audiogude is provided by QR code in each room, which worked very well. When we arrived at 10.00 there were hardly anyone there, so we could have probably just turned up. The reason we used skip the line because we could not purchase tickets direct from the palace. We tried several times but the website would not accept our cards. We would have liked to have had the tickets straight away instead of waiting to receive them two days before. This was quite worrying as we were already in Naples.
Lost my money, could not enter
Many of the rooms were closed. There was a very busy conference going on at the time of our visit. It caused congestion and I believe some of the rooms were closures.
Very interesting the palace shows all the rooms of the royal dynasties with priceless masterpieces of the artists of the time
This was going to be the best part of my trip. Viator canceled my tickets the day before I was supposed to visit the Royal Palace of Naples. The Royal Palace is the best place to visit in Naples, Italy
The palace doesnt look like a pslace from outside but its spectacular inside! We went around 5pm and were almost alone there! Ceilings took our breaths away! Each one is different and absolutely stunning. During our 5 weeks trip around Europe we have seen a number of castles and palaces and we still were impressed. Very worth seeing. A little hard to find the entrance due to renovations, could be better sign- posted. Otherwise - great! Tx
Paid directly at the ticket office 17 euro which included visit to the Palace, gardens, Tolkein exhibition and Time exhibition. The garden terrace was timed entry, well worth making the effort as it offers extensive views over the park, port and mount Vesuvius. Although we were impressed by the marble carved state staircase, the baroque royal theatre and painted doors, some areas of the Palace rooms were looking very tired, some curtains and wall coverings are in need of renovation. Many paintings were in needed cleaning as too dark to see the details. Enjoyed the Time exhibition about the history of Naples, which was within the former stables.
Very beautiful palace, which deserves a long visit, the staircase is monumental, especially on a sunny day. Young girls come to be photographed in their beautiful clothes under a ray of sunshine. The rooms are baroque and richly decorated. That's wonderful.
