Situado no coração do Vale do Paarl, Fairview é conhecido por seus vinhos Prêmio, queijos artesanais e hospitalidade calorosa. A fazenda tem uma rica história que remonta ao final do século XVII, quando a fazenda foi concedida ao primeiro colonos, um Huguenot Francês chamado Charles Back. Originalmente conhecida como Bloemkoolfontein, a fazenda foi mais tarde renomeada Fairview devido à sua vista deslumbrante e paisagem circundante. Hoje, a fazenda ainda é de propriedade da família Back. Our spontaneously booked half-day tour to Stellenbosch was a complete success. Our guide Cotlint was awesome. During our trip, she told us quite a bit about the history of winemaking in South Africa and shared information with us about life in Cape Town from up close. Thanks to her, the car ride from Cape Town to Stellenbosch flew by. The two wineries were also impressive, with a very good selection of wines paired with small snacks in the form of cheese or jerky. For us, a must-have on a trip to Cape Town 😊

Leticia was a fantastic guide who shared her first hand knowledge about Cape Town and about the wine region we visited. She was enthusiastic and has a real love for what she does - and it shows! The Fairview and Marianne wineries we visited were welcoming and wonderful. It was fun to sample the different vintages. I recommend this for any couple or group. Thank you very much for a perfect visit to 2 wineries, namely Fairview and Marrianne. A very good experience for us to be able to be introduced and tried difference types of reds and whites wine. We had a wonderful half day tour of Stellenbosch. Our guide Cotlint was amazing. She kept us entertained in the car by giving us a lot of information about South Africa. The first winery we stopped at had great wine and cheese (and goats!). The second winery had an incredible view, good wine, tasty jerky, and a vegetarian option for those who don’t eat meat. We were able to walk around the second winery and get great pictures. Following the wine, we had a nice ride through the town of Stellenbosch while Cotlint played us music. The energy was high throughout the tour and that is all thanks to Cotlint. Highly recommend this tour. Dankie Cotlint!
