Sintra, Pena Palace, Regaleira, Cabo Roca & Cascais (Max 8 pessoas)

I am so happy that we booked this tour with Bruno. Right from the beginning he was so patient and accommodating. We are a family of four with 10yo and 7yo. I knew it may be challenging at times as there is some walking involved but thanks to his knowledge and experience he was able to get us places fairly quickly before the big crowds arrived. He is a wealth of knowledge!!!! So many interesting stops along the way that he would point out to us. Without his knowledge you would miss it. After Sintra we stopped for delicious lunch and breathtaking views. He also took photos of us and shared some additional pictures via whatsup. Sintra is a magical place that gets pretty busy so if you want to make it as easy as possible on yourself be sure to book a tour with this company and ask for Bruno!!! .Thank you for an amazing day :-)

The tour was expertly guided by Bruno who navigated through multiple traffic obstacles to make sure we experienced the Pena Palace, Sinatra Village, and seaside Cascais to the fullest. His knowledge of history and culture brought everything to life. This is an amazing tour and a day well-spent.

Bruno is an excellent tourist guide, well time planned, accesible, give good recommendations for places to eat, respectful and speak three languages, so he kept the group well informed. The REGALEIRA was viewed from a distance point in the mountain. No time to take pictures outside the building or its exterior landscape because time was not sufficient. Although the client could decide whether to explore the center of sintra and the national palace or to explore REGALEIRA. Those whose stay in the center were on time to reach the meeting point with Bruno. REGALEIRA still is a point of interest to tourists , so I recommend that Viator and operators include more time to visit the “pozo” of the REGALEIRA and the center (both), with some control of time to tourists. Because in the title of the tour it include the name REGALEIRA and this creates some expectation to tourist. And besides, the operators give instructions that those who want to visit REGALEIRA can buy the ticket individually in the 12 slot. To control or prevent that the group be divided, I recommend to take the group to both places with control of time. Because in the REGALEIRA there are notices by the operator that person could be lost in the gardens. Overall, that was an excellent experience of Sintra, pena palaces, Cascais, Cabo da Roca, Estoril, and the center where originally picked up.

A lovely day trip to Sintra and Cascais with guide, Miguel. He was professional, providing information beforehand. On the day, he was prompt, friendly and informative - flitting between Spanish and English for the benefit of the multilingual group. At Sintra, before visiting the sites, he surprised us with a delicious complimentary treat. He also recommended a delicious pastry at a bakery in Sintra. We returned to Lisbon promptly and Miguel was flexible with drop-offs. All in all, a wonderful trip. Note some sites are self-guided.

Bruno customized the trip to the weather and our walking abilities to a tee. He was so flexible for what we wanted to do, certainly within the plan of the tour. Thankfully, for us, a second couple that was booked to join the tour did not so we were able to really do exactly what we wanted to do and Bruno could not have been more accommodating. The length of the stop was perfecf each time. We never felt hurried or rushed. We are both so glad we took this tour and that Bruno was our guide. Well worth every dime!
