Depois de mais de um século como estância de férias, Cascais tem uma certa notoriedade que falta às estâncias mais recentes. A sua história é visível nas vilas ao longo da costa. A baía de areia protegida já foi um porto de pesca pré-histórico.
Antes de ir para o Cabo da Roca, você pode dar um passeio pelo centro histórico de Sintra. É um bom momento para descansar, almoçar e experimentar alguns doces regionais tradicionais. Cabo da Roca, o ponto mais ocidental da Europa Continental, é mais um ótimo local para tirar algumas fotos e sentir a brisa do mar.
Saímos de Lisboa pela manhã em direção ao Palácio da Pena, listado pela UNESCO. O palácio romântico do século XIX é uma maravilha para descobrir e uma que você não vai esquecer em breve. É um dos melhores lugares para tirar fotos. É colocado alto no topo da montanha com uma vista esplêndida que se estende por milhas, até o Oceano. (Monumento sugerido)
Faremos um passeio pelo centro histórico de Sintra. Este é um bom momento para descansar, almoçar e experimentar alguns doces tradicionais regionais. Você desfrutará de uma hora de tempo livre!
A impressionante Quinta da Regaleira é mais um site listado pela UNESCO que tem edifícios esculpidos antigamente, jardins incríveis e uma brisa gótica que encantará qualquer um que ouse entrar. Cheio de história por trás, você aprenderá tudo sobre as cavernas, poços secretos e arte que se originou da Maçonaria, dos Templários e da Cruz das Rosas. (Monumento sugerido)
Esta magnífica propriedade é uma selva de árvores exóticas e arbustos florescentes. Sua história remonta aos tempos dos mouros, mas foi nomeado de uma pequena capela do século XVI dedicada a Nossa Senhora de Monteserrat, da Catalunha, Espanha. (Monumento sugerido)
No coração da aldeia de Sintra, um par de chaminés cônicos incomuns sobem sobre o Palácio Real. We had the tour with Ana, and she was amazing! We loved that she was so knowledgeable and explained the history briefly. When you ask follow up questions, she will get into more details about what you are seeing. She was friendly and a delight to spend the day with. I couldn’t envision a better tour guide.
My friend and I just did the half day tour with Filipe and he was the best! He shared a lot of history about everywhere we passed by and was very sweet. Our half day tour turned into a full day tour as he made sure we took our time and visited everything we had planned. We were very lucky he was able to escort us on most stops and personally guide us through and share a lot of great info. He was able to take many photos of us and shared via whatsapp which was so nice. He was even able to add a quick stop for is to Pasteis de Belem just so I could a few up and bring back with us. Highly recommend this experience if you want to be taken care of and could not be more happy Filipe was our guide.

This was a great tour. Although expensive, it was good value for the cost. Our tour guide Ana picked us up, dropped us off at two separate places to explore, and then accompanied us thru the Pena Palace. We were able to skip the line, as promised. Ana was so nice, drove expertly, and helped to make it a great day. She even recommended a beach to us that we went to the next day, and loved. We didn’t have a lot of time in Lisbon, so this quick tour made sense for us to be able to see Pena Palace. The traffic/parking situation in Sintra seemed really challenging and we didn’t have to deal with any of it. Ana took care of everything …. And she made it look easy. That’s why I think the tour was worth the cost.

We had an amazing day touring Pena Palace, Cascais and Lisboa! Our guide was phenomenal! He was patient with the kids and seniors in our group and incredibly knowledgeable about everything. Would highly recommend for a small group!

Our half day tour was excellent! Nuno was kind, knowledgeable, and flexible. We made a couple stops en route to Sintra and then had a lovely visit at the Pena Palace, with the ability to skip lines being quite a privilege. Overall, it is everything we hoped it would be. Thank you, Nuno!
