Durante este tour irás visitar algumas das maravilhosas praias e montanhas deste parque natural, irás estar em permanente contacto com a natureza e usufruir de paisagens únicas. De bicicleta visitaremos a vila de Sintra, conhecida como “a terra do conto de fadas”, onde iremos provar as doçarias locais (queijadas e travesseiros), passaremos por fantásticos castelos e palácios, os quais pertenceram à família real portuguesa e a muitos milionários que aí fizeram luxuosas férias. O colorido Palácio da Pena e o Castelo dos Mouros no topo da montanha ficarão para sempre na tua memória, tal como o Palácio Nacional de Sintra, o Palácio da Regaleira e o de Seteais, onde passaremos à porta. A passagem pelo Santuário da Peninha e pelo Cabo da Roca, o mais ocidental ponto da Europa continental, são outros pontos de destaque. Sintra é definitivamente um local mítico! Fazer um passeio de bicicleta em Sintra é algo absolutamente fantástico, mas juntar isto à passagem pela maravilhosa vila de Cascais e pelas as suas inúmeras e charmosas praias a este tour poderemos dizer que é equivalente “a colocar a cereja no topo do bolo”.

Sintra é uma vila maravilhosa, com muita história e está situada no sopé da Serra de Sintra
Este é um local misterioso. No interior dos seus jardins existem maravilhosos túneis que formam um labirinto e onde existe um poço onde é possível entrar.
Para além de visitarmos a vila de Sintra, neste tour iremos pedalar por todo o Parque Natural, rodeados de árvores centenárias, desfrutando de vistas maravilhosas, num ambiente encantador.
As enormes falésias e algumas das praias junto ao Oceano Atlântico também fazem parte deste espaço, por essa razão também pelaremos no topo das falésias e visitaremos algumas destas praias. A visita à maravilhosa Praia da Agraga também faz parte do nosso percurso e nos dias mais quentes será possível tomar banho.
Este é o ponto mais ocidental da Europa Continental, a passagem neste local simbólico também é um dos pontos altos desta actividade.
Ainda no Parque Natural de Sintra visitaremos o Santuário da Peninha, o qual está situado num dos pontos mais altos da Serra de Sintra. Em dias de céu limpo a vista é de cortar a respiração, consegue ver-se toda a costa atlântica e Lisboa.
Esta é uma das mais conhecidas e bonitas praias de Portugal. Famosa pelas sua ondas fortes e gigantes, é um local de eleição par a a prática do surf e wind-surf.
Situado entre a Praia do Guincho e a cidade Cascais, encontraremos este local desenhado pela força brutal das ondas.
Esta cidade que ficou mundialmente famosa na época da Segunda Guerra Mundial quando muitas famílias reais europeias a escolheram para primeira habitação. Nessa altura foram construídos em Cascais imensos palácios, enormes casas e maravilhosos hotéis. Pedalar neste ambiente, ao final do dia, é "a cereja no topo do bolo", deste inesquecível passeio de bicicleta.

We had such a fun day. Maria was a wonderful guide. She took us to an adorable pastry shop to a treat early in the day. Gave us a choice between grabbing sandwiches to eat along the way or going to a restaurant for lunch. We picnicked in the forest. She spent an extra couple hours with us. No rush, just wanted everyone to have a good time.

Maria ensured we had an incredible adventure from gaining e-bike confidence to teaching us how to take the train to seeing just about every every angle of Sintra from sea level to a 1600 foot elevation gain. We exceeded our daily steps as well as e-biked over 20 miles. This excursion exceeded every expectation! Thank you, Maria!

Maria was our guide for the day and she was brilliant, giving us lots of facts for all of the areas we visited. The route was great, Sintra simply stunning. Loved the whole experience and would recommend to everyone!

We had gone on their 7 Hills ride the day before and It was amazing, and we were looking forward to this one to see more of Portugal outside of a Lisbon. Edwardo was amazing. Great history and sights and his knowledge of every area we went by and in was great. Castles, sandy beaches. amazing forest and homes too. We had lunch had a fabulous restaurant he recommended and it delivered. It will get its own review, but it was called Nicolau. Outstanding salads, tacos, sandwiches and more. When we return to Lisbon we will be booking again. Thank you Edwardo and Lisbon Bike Tours!
Maria was an excellent tour guide. The day was better than I expected, challenges when we were off-road… beautiful when we were on pavement. Plenty of stops along the way as we desired, everything flexible. I highly recommend this E bike tour.

Miguel was a fantastic guide. Fun, informative and safely navigated crowds and traffic. Saw a variety of scenery we would not have seen any other way. The e-bikes exceeded expectations.

It was one of the best bike tours we have done! We got to choose to go off road or not. We chose to do off road and there wasn’t anyone else, and we were in a national forest. The food at lunch was phenomenal. I am not usually a sangria person, but it was great and refreshing! Just be prepared for wind blown sand near and at the first beach.

We booked an e-bike tour exploring Sintra and Cascais. Our guide was Maria from freebiketourslisbon.com. Maria was very knowledgeable and getting us on and off the train from Lisbon to Sintra and then back from Cascais was not an easy task. She was very safety conscious, which when riding a bike is very important to us. We stopped at a great little restaurant that was out of the way and Maria suggested a great meal. Great workout even on an e-bike! If you enjoy cycling this tour with Maria is highly recommended!

It's a pretty long day, lots of time on the train. But the park and the views are fantastic. The guide was nice, however she should have stuck to the time advertised. We got back too late.
Thank you for participating in the tour, and we're glad you enjoyed the route and the guide. The train journey takes about 35/40 minutes; the problem is that trains run less frequently on Sundays, which sometimes causes delays. On the other hand, the tour duration (8 hours) is indicative and may vary for several reasons, such as the weather, how everyone cycles, etc. Safety and comfort are always a priority. In any case, as we always try to improve, we will take your observations into account. Thank you
First of all this tour gave us far more than we ever imagined. Maria was an excellent leader and guide and she made sure we were always safe. We discovered and saw sights in the Sintra area from old town Sintra, to forests, back roads, mountain tops and beach’s. It was a wonderful full day of adventure. We biked over 50 km’s stopping for a coffee break and a lunch break all the perfect time. This is one of our most memorable and enjoyable guided tours we have been a part of. Would highly recommend.
