Depois que eu te pegar do seu hotel em Brasov, nós vamos dirigir por cerca de uma hora e meia para Viscri enquanto eu apresentar-lhe os começos da história romeno. A primeira visita é a Viscri, uma aldeia encantadora localizada remotamente em uma área rural da Transilvânia. Foi originalmente estabelecido pelos Székelys, os primeiros colonos da Transilvânia, e mais tarde viu um influxo de colonos saxões nos séculos XII e XIII. A aldeia é o lar da icônica Igreja Fortificada Viscri, um Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO e um dos mais conhecidos da Roménia.
A meia hora de carro de Viscri, nossa próxima parada é a Fortaleza de Sighișoara. No caminho de volta de Sighisoara faremos uma parada na Fortaleza Rupea. Mesmo que este não seja um marco da UNESCO como os outros dois que acabamos de visitar, vale a pena. Esta joia foi construída pelos saxões da Transilvânia e documentada já em 1324. A Fortaleza de Rupea ergue-se orgulhosamente em um penhasco de basalto de 120 metros de altura a oeste da cidade de Rupea. Esta fortaleza medieval teve uma importância estratégica significativa no século XIV, servindo como um nexo vital que ligava a Transilvânia, a Moldávia e a Valáquia. Da Fortaleza de Rupea voltaremos por cerca de uma hora e concluiremos este passeio no seu hotel de Brasov.

Adrian was a knowledgeable guide, giving us detailed historical information on the sites we visited. He was comfortable to be with. He is a good driver in a comfortable vehicle.
We had such a lovely day with Adrian. He was so knowledgeable- I now know more about medieval Transylvania and Vlad the Impaler than I will ever remember, and we also got a sense of the modern politics of Romania. He was very alert to any pace difficulties and adjusted accordingly and even spotted when food was needed. These places are stupendous and we couldn’t have seen them with a more fabulous guide/companion.

Adrian is very knowledgeable, clearly has a passion for his country's history and is so engaging. He was flexible with my planning and requests. He has plenty of suggestions for places to visit, extra activities and wonderful food! Amazing tour and tour guide. I visited Sighisoara on my own, so Adrian willingly picked me up there and crafted a wonderful day visiting Prejmer, Biertan and Viscri. Adrian picked us up on time with no problems. Adrian was informstive, knowledgeable and engsging, an exceññent guide. His knowledge of the history of Transylvania was incredible. The first fort was interesting but the highñights were the two UNESCO cities. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day. I highly, highly recommend taking this tour with Adrian of you are at all interested in learning about the country you are visiting!
It was a really lovely experience. I was amazed by the amount of information that Adrian posesed about history of Transylvania and the passion that he speaks with. He is an incredible and patient guide, he showed us so many interesting things that it would have impossible for us to know. The trip with him was so delightful and we hope we’ll come back again and do other trips with him.

This tour was so great! I love that it was private- as in just my husband and myself with our guide, Adrian! It was a long day but so worth it. Adrian is so knowledgeable, and it’s impressive how much information he shared with us off the top of his head. We had great weather the day we went, so the views we had from up top at each of our stops were spectacular. Our guide was very personable, and when he wasn’t sharing historical information, we engaged in great conversations throughout the day, which made it even better- as if we were spending the day with a new friend who was showing us around a country we had never visited before. We also had a great lunch all together in the afternoon, so that was a nice break. My husband and I are so fascinated with Romania, and even more so now and can’t wait to go back and see/learn more!

Adrian’s depth of knowledge and love of his country’s history made this a truly memorable experience. My wife and I have been on many group tours which just can’t compare to the personalization Adrian was able to accommodate us with since this was a very specialized “private” tour. We visited 3 historical sites, one of which is a UNESCO site, and when taken together they really explained the history of Transylvania and its importance on the world stage and enormous global events that continue to shape our common history.
