Nas colinas da belíssima paisagem toscana, a apenas 2 km do centro medieval de Siena, esta excursão educacional de vinhos e degustação 'Vine, Wine and Life' é uma excursão de 3 horas realizada em uma vinícola orgânica. Aprenda sobre os diferentes estágios da produção de vinhos nas estações e desfrute de degustações e um almoço leve.

De forma muito simples, diretamente nos vinhedos, falaremos sobre o ciclo agronômico de nossas uvas orgânicas com a ajuda da genética, fisiologia, ecologia, poda, manejo do solo e colheita.
Na adega, levamos em consideração os conceitos básicos para uma produção de vinho de qualidade, analisando os detalhes químicos, físicos e microbiológicos dos nossos vinhos, durante todas as etapas principais do processo da uva ao vinho: esmagamento, fermentação alcoólica, maceração fermentação malolática, extração, estabilização, engarrafamento e refinamento.
Na nossa sala de provas equipada, provaremos 4 dos nossos vinhos biológicos, todos típicos da região, para compreender todas as notas sensoriais com a ajuda dos nossos olhos, nariz e palato. Um triunfo de percepções para exaltar o que mais amamos no vinho: o complexo mundo das emoções.
A degustação terminará com um “almoço leve” combinando vinho e comida. Oferecemos menus sazonais para satisfazer o paladar e manter um corpo saudável, combinando comida com um dos nossos vinhos e com o nosso azeite biológico extra-virgem.

Excellent overview of vineyard management and the wine production process! John is knowledgeable and very personable. The 4 (actually SIX) wines that we tasted were quite good and the meal accompanying it was excellent (lived the flourless chocolate cake!). All aspects of the 3-4 hours were carefully planned and curated. Thank you for a wonderful Tuscany experience!
We really enjoyed this tour of the gorgeous La Lastra vineyard! Lorenzo was a great guide - knowledgeable and fun! The main house was beautiful and meeting one of their lovely little cats was an added bonus. The lunch served was delicious, and they asked about dietary requirements beforehand which was great as my partner and I are vegetarian. The tour was the perfect mix of laidback, low pressure and genuinely really interesting. You should definitely go here if you’re visiting Siena!!!

This was a great experience. Lorenzo was awesome! The winery is so beautiful. The tour was on point and not too long. The wines were excellent. The food was unbelievable! Only problem was getting a taxi to the winery (a must even if mapping apps make it look walkable). If you rented a car, that would work also. We had a hard time getting a cab from Siena. I think the winery would get a taxi for you if you called that morning. They arranged a taxi for us upon leaving that showed up super quickly. Thank you so much!
This was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Lorenzo was an outstanding guide—enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and entertaining from start to finish. The winery tour was informative without feeling rushed, the wines were excellent, and the food was delicious. To top it off, Lorenzo even helped us arrange a taxi back to Siena at the end of the tour. One tip: don’t try to walk to the winery. It looks possible on mapping apps, but it’s much farther and more difficult than it appears. You’ll definitely want to take a taxi. Since taxis can be hard to find in Siena, I recommend messaging the winery in advance to see if they can arrange one for you. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We hope to visit again someday!
Exactly what we were looking for - close to Siena but located in beautiful countryside and organic. High quality greeting area and facilities, fantastic welcome, the guide was knowledgeable, approachable and humorous. The tasting itself was exceptional, excellent range of wine and the lunch far excelled expectations. I would highly recommend this experience.
Wonderful experience. Great wines paired with an exceptional lunch. Lorenzo, our tour guide, was a mine of information about the farm, the grapes and the wine.
Fabulous experience. Learned a lot from a very personable guide (Nicholas?) We were two joined by a very pleasant couple. Perfect size. Wines were great and food served during tastings was perfect. Truly the best wine tasting I have had the pleasure of experiencing. Thoroughly enjoyed!
