Golden Temple Residence tour guide: An Angelic Guide and Unforgettable Hospitality — Thank You, La! ​ My wife and I recently had the absolute privilege of staying at the Golden Temple Residence and arranging our excursions through the hotel. While the property itself is gorgeous and centrally located, what truly made our getaway unforgettable was our extraordinary tour guide, La (Rorn La). We spent two full days hitting the ground running, exploring the breathtaking ancient temples of Siem Reap. La went above and beyond every single step of the way. He didn't just teach us about the fascinating history and the deep meanings behind each stone carving; he kept us safe, shared the beautiful soul of Cambodian culture, and treated us with a rare, genuine kindness. By the end of those two days, he and our wonderful driver felt less like a tour crew and more like lifelong friends who truly cared for us. On our third day, pure exhaustion caught up with us, and we unfortunately had to cancel our morning tour to the floating villages of Tonle Sap. We felt incredibly guilty about canceling, but La’s response showed his beautiful character. He was so thoughtful that he still took the time to stop by our hotel just to bring us delicious local sticky rice and check in on us before we rested. Waking up from a nap later that afternoon, my wife and I realized that what we missed most wasn't the missed sightseeing tour—it was simply spending time with La. He truly has the heart of an angel, and his selflessness deeply moved us. If you are visiting Siem Reap and staying at the Golden Temple Residence, do yourself a massive favor and request La as your guide. He is, without a doubt, the absolute best. We left a piece of our hearts in Cambodia, largely thanks to him, and we deeply hope he will be our guide again when we return in the near future. We had a very informative tour with pineapple Cambodia tours. Our guide Sunleang was very helpful, personable, full of knowledge and a clever photographer. He made sure we had all the good photo opportunities and also took some great photos of us. The driver Bo was also very good making sure we had cold towels and iced water. We feel very fortunate to have done the tour with Sunleang, Bo and Pineapple Cambodia tours. They communicated well and were very punctual. Thank you for making our day so special!

I truly enjoyed my tour! Ben was an amazing guide and I learned so much from this experience. I would 120% recommend this tour to anyone coming to Siem Reap. It is so insightful and you get a glimpse of how people lived a 1000 years ago! My guide and our Tuktuk driver, Han, was so professional and friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

It was a great experience to go around Angkor Park and know about its history. My tour guide, Ben, is very knowledgeable to describe the history of Angkor Wat and other temples. It is very recommended for you to take a tour around Angkor Wat with the best experience ever.

We visited the temples during Covid-19 cause we're living in Cambodia. All temples are beautiful and quiet. We bought one day pass but we can go to temples for two days, this is great. in the morning at 8, it was a time for breakfast but we were really difficult to get breakfast because all the restaurants are closed, but our guide took us to have a very simple local breakfast on along the way to Angkor Thom call "Bor Bor Kroeung" i hope i spelled it right, it was really nice though. Great tour, guide and driver, all are just great!

We wake up at 4 in the morning and being ready to go down to lobby, our guide and driver just sit and waited us in there. It was really early for us to do that but Angkor Wat in the dark morning is stunning. We sat at the south library of the temple and our guide is started to tell the story of Angkor. We really loved the way he presenting the details and after that we went to the inner side of Angkor Wat. Spent almost 3 hours in Angkor Wat then we did Angkor Thom, Bayon temple, it is the face temple and it represent the Buddha that's what our guide said. We did a two more temple surrounding, Ta Nei and Ta Prom. All in one package, this is great for us and we recommended this to you.

Tour was amazing, Narren is a great guide, always friendly, caring and he speaks English really well. Food we had at Srah Srang was really delicious and snacks that provided by our driver, Sokhon are nicee too. Highly recommended!

Sophea was an amazing tour guide. She knew where to go to line up the sunrise with Angkor Wat's central spire. Knew a great spot to grab pictures at the reflecting pond. And you could tell she definitely wanted us to have a great time. We highly recommended this to everyone!

A great thing to see real of Cambodia. I and my husband went on vacation to Siem Reap and decided to do this Angkor tour. We were the only ones on the tour, the tour was very flexible to what we were wanted to do and see. Our guide Chamreon was really great and knowledgeable about the area, especially Angkor. The food was great too and Mr. Vann, driver always being smiled and friendly. I highly recommended this to everyone when come to Siem Reap!
