Show was great and got reserved table next to stage. Recommend that although staff not very friendly when asked for a third drink. Dinner is in restaurant across road. Not great quality, my friends didn’t eat most of it. Location in san Telmo - our hotel wasn’t far. So with hindsight should have just booked show.
I booked a dinner show and got a dinner and a show across the street after dinner. Dinner was good, service good. The show was okay, too long. One hour and 45 minutes. We had the worst seats in the place. A huge pole in front of us prevented us from seeing the show. That was awful.
I have nothing to say but great things about this experience. The dinner was wonderful and the show was the tops, I highly rate it, and would recommend all to watch it. You won’t regret it. It was awesome!!!
If you enjoy Argentinian Tango dances as well as great food and wine then this experience is an absolute must!! We were really impressed with the choice of dishes and how ell cooked they were along with great wine choices. There is a separate dance hall which staged many different styles of Tango and the atmosphere was electric - simply superb!!
I made a reservation for my show over a week in advance. I received my ticket from Viator, and went to see my show. I got there, and there were two giant tour buses in front of the club, and they told me that they were sold out! They said that they could reschedule me. This cost me a cab ride there and back, which is almost as much as the show. However, after a bit of pressure, they gave me a ticket for another night and comped an upgrade for the dinner. Also, as a tango dancer, I guess look upon it as a spectacle show, not really authentic tango. But it was very entertaining and the music was excellent, and a seasoned singer came up at the end.
Show was great. Authentic small cabaret style theatre. Amazing dancers. This was traditional Argentine Tango. Dinner was OK, as you'd expect for this kind of activity. It's held in a restaurant opposite dedicated for El viejo Almacén. Pickup and drop off information was lacking although asking for information. Transfer was late and we were considering getting a taxi to be there on time.
Really differentiated show, an experience that is very worth checking out, I recommend the package with transport and dinner included.
I looked around for a great Tango show...we were in Buenos Aires for the first time and wanted to experience this beautiful dance. We found it! We stayed in Puerto Madero and walked to the show. Smaller stage but an AMAZING show! The dancing, singing and band were truly spectacular!!
Spectacular Tangier Experience and Mood. With typical Argentine songs and dances. Absolutely recommended.
The Tango show was a great experience, even for someone not particularly interested in performance dance. A look into history and culture, I found it to be very interesting. I was afraid it could be a tourist trap, but it was not.
