Great experience. Incredible the acting at the Salgueiro school. Great show for those who have never lived the true carnival It all went very well, from the marking of the activity, to the departure and return of the hotel. Everything in the show went well and was excellently organized. We love it.

The place was basically a party, with singer dancers and drummer, the energy of the place was really good.However , the tour is not really a tour , there was just little explanation , the pickup was late like 50 min, and when we arrive we were just sit on a table and they give us the pick up time.
You went to Salgueiro. The best samba experience we have in Rio. If it was not enough to you, you really don't what carnival is. You should read better what kind of experience you want befor buying, not? But you one different opinion of 8 million visitors that love it. At least you learn what not to do in this country.
Will not recommend, the operator cancelled the booking few hours before the show. They asked me to cancel on our end. We tried to cancel but the Tripadvisor platform did not have the option for full refund due to operator cancellation. This has ruined my day for no reason of my own and now I have to wait for my money to be refunded byTripadvisor. Will not recommend to anyone.
Hello Mr. Mark! At the exact moment you made your reservation (36 hours before the show) we informed you that the samba school had canceled the show. In fact, you very aggressively said you wanted to go anyway. As if we could create an exclusive show just for you. This is not possible. Well, you paid for the collective tour. We gave you the option to cancel immediately or change the date. But you were irreducible. Cancellations here and on any platform must follow the platform's criteria. We do NOT control this. And it's NOT our fault that you didn't cancel in time. We are at your disposal for further clarification.
We couldn't go in to see the rehearsal. Entry to minors under 18 was not allowed. Even though the clarifications said yes. We ended up going through lapa and paying entry to another place and never saw a refund for the previous entry. The guide Andreson is very friendly and good-natured.
