Imjingak foi construído em 1972 com a esperança de que um dia a unificação fosse possível. O Imjingak de três andares é cercado por vários monumentos, o Parque da Unificação e o Centro da Coreia do Norte.
Mangbaedan é um lugar onde as pessoas que deixaram suas famílias no norte visitam no dia de Ano Novo.
O 3º Túnel foi descoberto pela Coreia do Sul em 1978. Tem mais de 1.635 m de comprimento, 2 m de largura e 2 m de altura e está localizado a 52 km de Seul. Estima-se que aproximadamente 30.000 soldados poderiam se mover pelo túnel por hora.
A partir deste Observatório de Dora, você pode observar a Coreia do Norte e vários locais, incluindo Gaeseong, Songaksan, a estátua de Kim Il-Sung e a Fazenda de Cooperação (Geumamgol).
Ponte Gamaksan Chulleong, uma ponte suspensa com 150 m de comprimento e 1,5 m de largura, localizada em Solma-ri, onde a Batalha de Solma-ri, também conhecida como Batalha de Gloster Hill, foi realizada em 1951. A batalha de Solma-ri é uma das batalhas representativas travadas pelas forças da ONU na Guerra da Coreia e tem um significado importante, pois é registada como uma batalha representativa de defesa do isolamento. Durante a batalha, cerca de 650 soldados britânicos sacrificaram-se contra 25.000 soldados chineses durante três dias e isso permitiu que as forças da ONU redistribuíssem as suas tropas para impedir a invasão chinesa de Seul.

Kenny was an excellent tour guide. Great experience and very informative. Our family had a great time.
Winnie did a good job telling about the different issues around the North and South Korea conflict. From how the South Korean political situation affects the N-S relations to her personal experience with North Koreans. Also a nice set of different pictures and videos shown during the trip. The hanging bridge and the 3rd tunnel experience did require some effort but that was ok. I suppose the tour couldn’t change the westher but we did survive 37degC in the shade.

Had an amazing time! Went with family and we were all super pleased. Beautiful views of the DMZ from the observatory and the tunnel was such a fun experience (but be prepared, it is very steep). The hike up to the suspension bridge is beautiful and has a great view at the top. Our tour guide Henry was very accomodating, waiting patiently as my grandparents climbed the steep slopes and even taking an alternate driving route so they could see the suspension bridge (they couldn’t hike up). Also had a great laugh as he sung and danced to gangnam style 😂 Would highly recommend!
