It was a very interesting tour with our tour guide Chris Lee. With his insights, Chris showed us many aspects of the Korean culture and history, which we were not aware of and he also aligned the tour schedule to our needs. Even with a rainy day and walking outside for almost 2 hrs, it was a fantastic and highly recommended experience. Please let Chris know what you‘re interested in and he will adapt the tour schedule Thanks a lot

This was our first trip to Seoul, so we chose to do this 4-hour tour on the first day to get some orientation and to get the best out of our three days in Seoul. Our guide Oki picked us up punctually at our hotel, which was nice and convenient. We had a list of places we wanted to visit and she tailored an itinerary based on this. We especially wanted to visit the historically significant places together with her to understand more about the history and culture and to maximise our experience in Seoul. She more than fulfilled our expectations! Oki is very knowledgeable, easy going and fun. She showed us quite a few of Seoul’s highlights at a leisurely pace and also showed us how to use the subway. We had a wonderful time with Oki and highly recommend a private tour with her! This was our 4-hour tour: 1. Changdeokgung Palace, as Gyeongbokgung Palace is closed on Tuesdays (book tickets online in advance for the Secret Garden) 2. Bukchon Hanok Village 3. Insadong 4. Ikseondong Village

Giwon was very pleasant and helpful. Some of my friends however needed more time to shop and couldn't catch up with the pace. Didn't get to ride the train to other sites as planned originally. It was a walking tour so just be well prepared. Perhap first on the list should have been a tour site, then finally shop and eat.

I had the best introduction to S. Korea from a unique point of view with Yujin. I was paired with Yujin based on a few initial questions and it was spot on in pairing me up with her. Yujin was my personal guide thru Ihwa Mural Village (although there are no longer amazing murals such as the Koi fishes) but it was compensated with a wonderful stroll through Bukchon hanok village, the theatre district, Insadong and Ik Seongdong area. I love handmade crafts and was very happy to purchase local artwork and boho carryall bag from local designer Maki in Bukchon. I was so grateful to Yujin for sharing her insight on everyday life. It has definitely kickstarted more explorations for me in my next visit to S. Korea. Yujin is fluent in English and is so laid back. I think my experience was enhanced since our outlook and personalities complement each other.

I took a last minute Seoul trip with a local. What a fantastic experience. My guide, Jiwan, gave me a great insight into the history, culture and food of Seoul. His English was perfect and he had a great sense of humour. I was spending the next day on my own sightseeing and he gave me advice about how to get to places I wanted to see. I often do tours with locals when I travel and Jiwan was one of the best guides I’ve had. Highly recommend this tour.
