We had a wonderful time with our photographer Hugh. He shared some behind the scenes locations with us that helped us to get away from the crowds a bit and have a more personable and quiet experience. The pictures he took were great and gave us a wonderful momento to take home from our trip and experiences in Kyoto.

Appreciate that Hugh offered me a slot from a cancellation of another shoot as he was not available originally. And happy with my pics as no other photographer offered these two locations together in an hour slot! Plus I got extra pics, with a quick turnaround of the next day. Highly recommend for solo travelers with limited time.

Had a great time in Kyoto with Hugh. He is incredibly friendly and very easy to talk to, which meant our session went by really quickly. He's a very talented photographer and he's taken some beautiful pictures of my family. We have had so many compliments on our photos!

Hugh was exceptional. He was most accommodating. I misunderstood our meeting place but Hugh was gracious and kind and accommodating. He was an excellent source for local food and sites to visit. He was experienced about places that locals visited so that we did not encounter all the visitors/tourists. As a non-native person living in Japan, and English-speaking person, we could not been more happy and at-ease with him. We were so happy with our experience and would highly recommend Hugh to everyone.

Hugh was fantastic to work with and very patient. I was a little late for our session and didn't expect him to make up that time at all but he was generous enough to extend our session a little bit. The photographs came out amazing and the turnaround time was super fast. I recommend his services!

Had an absolutely wonderful time on this experience. Hugh was very professional, prompt, and communicative. We moved up our time to avoid crowds and he was able to accommodate. Having a photographer at Fushimi Inari is a must. There are so many tourists that it can be intimidating but Hugh was able to show us all the hidden spots and get those photos without anyone in the background! He even took us to a hidden bamboo forest which was picturesque. Overall to not hesitate book your photoshoot now! Thanks Hugh

What an amazing experience! Hugh takes you to areas he knows of that won’t be as crowded and takes some amazing photos. Definitely recommend if you want some good shots and memories!
