Localizado no Casco Viejo, em La Paz, ou no centro histórico, este hotel é uma praça animada emoldurada por alguns dos edifícios políticos mais importantes da cidade.

Um dos marcos históricos e históricos mais importantes de La Paz é a igreja de São Francisco (Iglesia de San Francisco), também conhecida como a Basílica de São Francisco.

Localizado a poucos metros da tranquila Plaza San Pedro, encontra-se uma das instituições mais famosas e corruptas da palavra, a San Pedro Prison. O que torna San Pedro tão interessante são as condições em que vivem cerca de 1500 dos criminosos mais endurecidos da Bolívia. Uma sociedade dentro de si, a prisão contém lojas e restaurantes administrados por detentos, mulheres e crianças que vivem voluntariamente com familiares presos e, ironicamente, alguns dos mais movimentados laboratórios de cocaína do país.
Os jardins bem cuidados, as estátuas, os bancos do parque que se alinhavam no meio do caminho entre o tráfego de veículos indo e vindo do centro da cidade eram bem legais. El Prado também é cercado por enormes edifícios comerciais que abrigam muitos restaurantes.
Avenida Camacho: Uma das mais importantes e tradicionais avenidas da cidade de La Paz, está localizada no centro da cidade. Sua rota começa na Praça do Obelisco e termina no antigo Zoológico Municipal, também conhecido como Parque dos Macacos. Esta avenida foi nomeada em homenagem ao ex-presidente da República, Eliodoro Camacho.

The best walking tour I have ever done! Such interesting information with pictures and video’s shown as examples as well. Charlie explained everything very well and kept our attention the whole time. Visited both iconic places of La Paz as well as local spots I wouldve never found myself. Must do in La Paz!

Honestly was amazing. 10/10 would recommend. I was very lucky and no one had signed up so it was just me and the guide - Charlie. Charlie was unreal, he showed me his favourite empanada place when I said I was hungry and hungover, told me all these amazing stories and history while still keeping it interesting and engaging. Charlie definitely made the tour so ask for him if possible but still the walking tour really explains the amazing history of La Paz that you wouldn’t get if you didn’t search for it.

You walk almost all the important places of La Paz and its histories but the tour in some parts should be more interactive with the locals.

Charlie provided an informative and entertaining walking tour of La Paz that included many of the interesting locations in this unique and fascinating city.
