It wasn’t bad. There was just some confusion. The guide supposedly said that the meeting point was at 2:00 PM at the bus to go to Ávila, but several of us understood that she said it was at the cross near the aqueduct. We were left behind and had to call for them to come back and pick us up. They said we had misunderstood, but the paper they gave us when we checked in at the office had a photo and a QR code showing directions to the Cross. Another point: the tour was advertised as being in Spanish, but we were combined with the group that had booked the tour in English. The guide had to explain everything first in Spanish and then again in English, which took much more time. I would have preferred the description to clearly state that it was a bilingual Spanish-English tour so that customers would know what to expect in advance. The positive side: both cities were beautiful, the bus was in very good condition, and the lunch we ordered as part of the package was absolutely delicious. The guide was Michelle. No estuvo mal.
Reciban saludos cordiales
Very good guide, Federico. Kind, attentive, and responsible. Great, Gloria and Ismael.
A great day trip! The history and sightseeing in Avila and Segovia was incredible. Towns are quaint and fun. No time for shopping unfortunately. The lunch was yummy and so was the wine which was included in a family run establishment. You won’t regret the time
Great trip to catch a glimpse of Segovia and Avila. Well worth it. Tamara was a great tour guide and did and amazing job explaining everything in both English and Spanish.
The truck is very good, the guide practically doesn't even talk to you, it's half an hour of touch and the rest is free time! If you want to learn something about the city, it is not the right tour. It's a good means of transport.
Excellent tour guide, Juan, a young man with great linguistic fluency in both Spanish and English. Nice driver Raquel, who took us to the two beautiful cities. Interesting destinations: Segovia with its Roman aqueduct and cathedral, and Avila with its spectacular medieval city walls. Time is limited but sufficient for a flash visit. Disappointing only lunch.
It was good tour to sample Segovia and Avila. The coach bus was very comfortable and our guide was extremely knowledgeable about each stop we visited. If you are looking for a relaxing tour to sample these beautiful cities, we recommend.
Dear Jennifer, Thank you for your kind review. We hope to welcome you soon in another of tour tours. Kind regards
Our guide Patricia was great, hardest working your guide on the ground. As a day trip from Madrid it was super efficient and pleasurable. This was the first tour we’ve done. This would be my recommendation: Skip the meal and tour of cathedral in Segovia- to have more time exploring the city. We enjoyed the experience of the meal, but it took all of our time. Do the walk along the city wall in Avila, I was traveling in low tourist time and could have just purchased entrance ticket separately at time of tour. We had no expectations and ended the day happy and satisfied with our choice. Patricia narrates in Spanish and in English- and she does a really good job of it.
Dear customer, Thank you for your kind words. We really appreciate them. Of course, we also let Patricia know that you enjoyed the guided tour. Kind regards
The good: able to visit both towns in a very comfortable bus. The bad: company packs more than four tour versions into the same bus; which is a recipe for annoying results. Some passengers were visiting both towns, others just one. Some passengers had pre purchased access to the key attractions, others did not. So it was necessary to double check and mark the printed list that the guides had, MULTIPLE TIMES! This was an unnecessary waste of time; if the company wants to continue with this type of operation, they need to come up with a protocol that does not necessitate checking for names in the printed list. We actually did not have enough time for a good lunch due to that ludicrous situation. In the past, we have taken tours to multiple locations without such blatant interference, because every person aboard the bus had identical itineraries. Either get separate buses or stick to one itinerary for all. DO NOT PUT MULTIPLE TOURS ON THE SAME BUS. Unless you come up with a streamlined plan to accommodate everyone on board, QUICKLY! Also, tour guides must EMPHASIZE the departure times, before arrival. They mentioned once just before disembarking, and sure enough, some travelers ignored the instructions, or thought they were merely suggestions. We were told be here by 2:50. Most of us were, but we had to wait over 15 minutes for those lollygaggers. That is very inconsiderate. Put enough emphasis on punctual scheduling and stick to it. All our previous experiences in different tours were flawless. Not this one!
Dear customer We regret that you did not enjoy the tour. However, we are not aware of any negative comments from other passengers on your tour. Best regards
Worst tour ever taken. Bus driver did not speak English. There was no tour guide until we got to the site. Tour guide did not have audio equip so we had to wait 1/2 hr. It was 80% Spanish and the tour guide, in order to make up time was so far in front of us that we never heard the commentary, we were rushed so it was difficult to take photos and had no time to shop or enjoy any of the sites. We were on the run constantly for 6 miles. Tour guide did not pay attention to the group or the count of people, we were losing people. She was more interested in running ahead so she could smoke. At the end of the trip the non English speaking bus driver dropped us off at a location and we had no idea where we were at. It was apparent the tour guide did not know what she was doing.
