My brother and I thoroughly enjoyed our time out on the water, and getting a chance to swim in the ocean. Our guide was great and friendly, and even provided goggles for our swim-time which was clutch. Thank you for a great time! We four had a great time! It's great to get on the water and rest those aching tourist feet, engaging our arms a bit instead. Our guides were friendly and informative. The scenery was beautiful -- although note the actual Blue Cave had a collapse about a year ago and is no longer accessible by kayak tours.

This was such a fun experience for my family - parents and two young adults (18 & 21). We had some basic instruction in paddling and then a fabulous paddle where we viewed urchin and sea stars. It was just the right length and difficulty for us. I highly recommend it!

We had a fantastic kayaking experience in Otaru! Max was an outstanding guide who made everything feel easy, safe, and incredibly fun from start to finish. He gave clear instructions that helped us feel comfortable on the water, even when getting in and out of the kayaks, which he made look and feel effortless. One of the highlights was seeing the sea urchins up close in the crystal-clear water. It was such a memorable experience! Beyond the kayaking itself, Max also shared excellent recommendations for local eateries and other places and experiences to enjoy in the area, which made our visit even better.If you're looking for a fun, relaxing, and well-organized kayak tour in Otaru, we highly recommend this one. great tour! the water was a bit choppy but the guide was careful to make sure we were safe. the water was super clear and beautiful, and we even saw some sea creatures like sea urchin, and starfish. overall recommend!

Traveled alone and arrived by public transportation. Communication was great and I was a little late - no problem. Kayaked with the guide and a family of four. The experience was very personal and the views were incredible. I highly recommend this experience!

This was an amazing way to see this beautiful coast. I highly recommend! A lovely activity and Max was amazing. He was instructive and patient with our group of almost all first timers and fun to hang out with. He even helped us sort cabs after.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquil experience of gliding along the Otaru coastline in kayaks. Our guide, Max, provided everything we needed, sharing with our small group info about the sea flora and fauna and fielding our many questions about summer and winter in Japan. We appreciated the balance of time kayaking with a lovely break to take a swim.

Brilliant guided tour by an Australian host living locally. Very knowledgeable on the marine life and surrounding area. Adequate facilities and good equipment. Would come back!
