Starting pre dive/admin comments: Our dive needed 4 people minimum and we were only available on Thursday since we had other reservations on other days. They weee able to work around our needs and we got everything coordinated no issues. We were late because the ferry we took to isla mujeres was new to us and a bit difficult to navigate/slow. Registering, the elearning, and questions were answered promptly which helped our anxiousness and worries. The meat and potatoes (the actual discovery diving experience): Worth every penny. My wife was extremely nervous and on the verge of backing out. However, Sebastian and Javi were absolutely rockstars of trainers. They really took their time to make sure my wife and I had the basics down and were comfortable. When we went to the open water/dive site, both entering the water and diving, they really prepared us perfectly to know what to expect and also be completely comfortable. I appreciated the most that Sebastian and Javi took extra care of my wife who was having some trouble in the beginning with her buoyancy. I got somewhat comfortable so they gave me a lot of freedom while still keeping me in check and safe. The experience itself: absolutely unforgettable. This was the #1 top experience during our time in Cancún. Note: ASK AND BUY THE PHOTOS/VIDEOS for the dive. The pictures and videos came out great and will be posted everywhere and to everyone because they’re just so freakin awesome. Thank you guys so much!!!

We had a fantastic experience learning the basics of scuba diving (with lots of help from our very patient and encouraging instructor, Sebastian)! The underwater world we saw was so beautiful and inspiring! I will definitely be back and absolutely recommend Aqua Adventures to anyone who wants to learn to scuba dive. Thank you!!!

I had an amazing experience diving in Cancun and couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to scuba diving. The day started with a learning session and skills test, followed by two incredible dives, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. A huge thank you to Sebastian, our diving instructor, who was absolutely fantastic. As first-time divers, we were naturally a little nervous, but Sebastian was incredibly patient, caring, and thoughtful throughout the entire experience. He always made sure we were comfortable, regularly checked that we were okay, and adjusted the pace to suit our confidence and ability levels. What really stood out was how supportive and encouraging he was, helping us feel safe and relaxed underwater. He also captured some amazing videos for us, allowing us to relive some truly special moments from the dives. Sebastian’s professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made the experience so much better than we could have imagined. I would highly recommend this diving company to anyone, especially beginners. Thank you for helping make our first diving experience such a memorable one!

I Always wanted to scuba dive and after learning a cert was not needed, I just had to try it out. Jessica was very informative and advised to change the dates of the scheduling due to the weather. Sebastian and Javier hands down are some of the most patient trainers. Very knowledgeable about their craft and just flat out great. They got my wife, who is not a swimmer, to successfully get through the experience confidently and safely. They do charge 20 dollars a person to have pictures taken on their go pro just a heads up but well worth it. Got to see a stingray , barracuda , puffer fish , and many other kinds. My family loved the experience and would love to do it again!

Great experience scuba diving with Sébastien! He was patient and calm and a great guide. Also, we saw beautiful fish, a stingray and a baby nurse shark :) The underwater art sculptures are amazing too! Definitely recommend this for non certified divers who would like a lesson or refresher & some guidance

Perfectly happy with this experience. They were extremely patient with me and others who were new at diving. They were very calm and helped with any issue that came up when we were under the water. Our tour guides were Javier and Sebastian. Me and my husband high recommend this.

We had a diving with Javi. This experience was awesome, he is very very professional instructor. Even when one of us was a bit scared , he did everything so the dive was successful and amazing. We had 1 training dive on the beach and then 2 dives 50 minutes each in the MUSA and coral reef. Definitely would recommend!!

The diving was absolutely amazing – perfectly organized from start to finish. Great advice, top-quality equipment, and a really cool group of people. Absolutely amazing experience with Aqua Adventures! This was my first time doing Discover Scuba and it was worth every peso. The whole team made us feel comfortable from the start and helped break the ice, especially since we were beginners and a little nervous. They explained everything clearly, took great care of us in the water, and made sure we felt safe the whole time. They also provided snacks during the breaks, which was a really nice touch and showed how much they care about their guests.
