Este caminho icônico nos levará até a cimeira de uma montanha de 14.000 pés que tem capturado a imaginação do Colorado por décadas. Ao longo do caminho, teremos muitas oportunidades para grandes vistas de montanha, bem como alguns trilhos de caminhada para caminhantes mais avançados. Os viajantes têm parado neste local desde 1890! Este local de observação foi uma vez uma paragem ao longo da linha ferroviária de cog. Vamos entrar na história do comboio um pouco mais tarde no passeio, mas em 1890 este passeio permitiu aos turistas desfrutar da vista e se adaptar à alta altitude.

It was interesting, but when each section started, the narrator would talk for 10 secs., it would stop and then restart. It did that for each section.

Have someone else drive you! Admire the views as you go and make sure you dress warm. Take lots of pictures and make sure you watch the short movie in the look out center

We purchased the ticket online to skip the wait at the visitor center, which saved a lot of time! The Pikes Peak Highway Driving Tour was exactly what we needed—just an audio guide, so we could enjoy the drive at our own pace without any pressure. The ticket price included a car load of friends for admission into the park for $16.99. At the entrance to Pikes Peak we were required to pay again, they had never heard of Viator. We paid $34.00 to enter the park. I’ve requested a refund hopefully it will be honored.

I thought this was tickets. It wasn’t. I got to the booth, and they are like, you need to buy. You need to really put boldly, this won’t get you in the park. I guess a few others had the same experience. Basically I wasted $16.99, and got nothing.

The pace was perfect, and we learned about the topography as well as the history of Pike's Peak. There was all the time we needed to pause along the way. Very enjoyable!
