The two hour scenic float was outstanding. Our guide's, both Joe and Chris, were knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Seeing the herd of roughly 50 elk in the river as we pass by was a moment my wife and I will never forget. The Wild West Rafting staff were all polite and extremely helpful. Highly recommend

We had the best time. Our guide was amazing and the experience was hilarious. We hit sunshine and a hail storm and laughed about it throughout the trip! LOVED every minute and highly recommend this company. Our guide was very informative of the area, and steered us safely home.

We had a really great experience. Our guide was Skylar and was knowledgeable and kind and really outgoing. We were a group that arranged in age from 17 to 76 and have the chance to jump off the wrapped a couple of times and goswimming in the Yellowstone river. We even saw a bald eagle come down from a tree and catch a fish in the water and fly right by us. It was really a breathtaking experience with beautiful scenery and excellent service. Definitely recommend it and you even can get an ice cream at the end right on site!!

We had the most awesome experience! My husband is disabled and uses a wheelchair. I was looking for an excursion we could enjoy together. I couldn’t believe I found this company that provides a river rafting experience that’s wheelchair accessible. Before I booked, I contacted the company and they said his being disabled was not a problem. We had a wonderful time. The owner, Tom, was so compassionate and showed my husband such respect and kindness. He was able to get him on the raft. Our guide, Skye, was fantastic. She made sure we experienced just enough of the rapids to have fun safely and showed us the sights. We saw osprey, heron, an eagle, and a herd of elk lazily ignoring us as they cooled off in the river. We had such much fun. She offered and stopped at various places where it was safe to swim. Tom helped my husband disembark and helped him on and off the bus. He refused to be tipped. Said it was his pleasure and to give it to our wonderful guide instead. I can’t say enough about this experience. It was a trip we never thought we’d be able to do. My husband loved it. I would highly recommend to others with disabilities and to seniors and families that wish to have a safe, fun, great rafting experience.

We had an incredible experience with Wild West Rafting! From start to finish, everything was well organized, safe, and a lot of fun. Our guide, Skylar, was outstanding. She was knowledgeable, professional, and made everyone in our group feel comfortable while keeping the trip exciting. Her instructions were clear, and her positive attitude and sense of humor made the experience even better. You could tell she genuinely enjoys what she does and wants everyone to have a great time. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the rafting was the perfect mix of adventure and fun. We made some great memories and would highly recommend Wild West Rafting—especially if you get Skylar as your guide. We would definitely book with them again!

TripAdvisor only allows me to give five stars, but if I could give Wild West Rafting 10 stars, I would. My two boys, ages 11 and 15, and I did the 24-hour overnight rafting and camping trip, and this was genuinely an experience of a lifetime for our family. My kids had the time of their lives and were already talking about doing it again before the trip was over. The overnight trip isn't one of the options listed here on TripAdvisor, but if you have the opportunity to do it, do not pass it up. The cost was about $400 per person, with a four-person minimum. There were only three of us, and I was traveling on a tight budget, so I had to make a real decision about whether to pay for that fourth spot. I did—and after experiencing the trip, I would pay for that empty fourth spot again in a heartbeat. It was worth every penny. I'm already looking at when we might be able to return to Montana and do it again. Our guide, Nico, was absolutely fantastic. It's difficult to put into words how much he added to the experience. He was knowledgeable and confident on the river, but what really stood out was how friendly, easygoing, accommodating, and genuinely enjoyable he was to be around for the entire 24 hours. By the end, it didn't feel like we had simply spent a day with a rafting guide. Some of my favorite memories actually happened after we got off the river. Nico took us around the overnight area looking for bears. We didn't find any, but it didn't matter—the scenery was breathtaking. I'm from Miami, so being surrounded by mountains, beautiful creeks, forests, and essentially nobody except my family and our guide was incredible. At night, my boys got the full camping experience: being out in the woods, sitting around an open fire, making s'mores and spending time together without the distractions of everyday life. Those are memories I know they will carry with them for a very long time. The crew also provides and cooks the meals. They asked about our food preferences and genuinely tried to accommodate us. I'm lactose intolerant, and they made it work without making it an issue. And I have to mention something that goes beyond rafting. During the trip, Nico and I had several conversations that unexpectedly caused me to reflect on parts of my own life and put some things into perspective. I certainly wasn't expecting that when I booked a rafting trip. It made an already incredible experience personally meaningful to me in a way that's difficult to capture in a review. The entire Wild West Rafting crew was welcoming, fun, accommodating, and easy to be around, but Nico made this particular experience something my family will never forget. Wild West Rafting has a riding bull game. I didn't see other rafting companies doing so, so I am glad I went with them. The pics attached show my son trying to ride the bull. If you're visiting Montana or Yellowstone with kids and you're considering the overnight trip, my advice is simple: Do it. My boys were 11 and 15, they absolutely loved it, and all three of us want to go back. This wasn't simply one more activity on our vacation. It became one of the experiences we'll remember from this trip for the rest of our lives.
