Sayulita Tacos e Tequila Food Tour

On a recent visit to Sayulita, my friend and I booked this tour a few days ahead. Unfortunately on the tour day, it was pouring rain. We tried to cancel, but couldn't, and considered just not showing up. But in the end, decided we needed to eat anyway, so went to the meeting place. We were the only ones who had signed up, and when the guide, Marco arrived, he was so enthusiastic, that we went ahead. So glad we did! He was wonderful, fun and informative, and the tacos were all amazing. We're not huge tequila nor Mescal fans, but the cocktails were delicious too. It was great fun. We definitely recommend this tour!

Marco was an absolute highlight of our trip to Sayulita! From the moment we met him, he made our Tacos and Tequila Tour feel more like hanging out with a fun, knowledgeable friend than a formal tour. He was incredibly friendly, warm, and had a great sense of humor that kept us laughing the entire time. What really stood out was how educational the tour was — Marco shared so many interesting facts about the history of tequila, the traditional taco-making process, and fun stories about local culture in Sayulita. He clearly knows his stuff and has a real passion for it. We visited some fantastic spots for tacos and sampled excellent tequilas, and Marco made sure everyone felt included and had a great time. He went above and beyond to take photos for us and even gave great recommendations for the rest of our stay. Such a fun evening! Marco was an amazing guide. Really good value for the food and drinks and experience. We even returned to three of the spots later in our trip. Our only wish is that we did the tour earlier in our trip!

Marco was super knowledgeable and fun! A very laid-back, informative tour on the local food, the restaurants we visited and of course the tequila! The tacos were amazing and doing the tour at 4:30 was perfect cause that was our dinner!

I highly recommend doing this tour early in your trip. Not only did Amanda show us the best taco places in town but also gave us a list of other restaurants and places to visit during our trip. 10/10

Amanda gave a wonderful tour. We arrived in the beginning of the slow season and ended up with a private tour. I’m honestly impressed she didn’t just cancel on the two of us seeing as the profit margin must be pretty slim for such a small group. Regardless, we had a wonderful time, learned a lot about tequila, mezcal and racilla. Found some of the best food and drink spots in town and walked away with a list of other places to visit and enjoy. I highly recommend doing this tour as soon as possible when you arrive in Sayulita. You won’t regret it!

This tour felt like being shown around a friends town, eating delicious food, learning about the restaurants, and different tequilas. It was a lovely experience, Marco was an incredible guide - he was friendly, knowledgeable, personable, and funny.

The taco and tequila tour was fabulous. Our guide was Marco and he was so fun and so knowledgable. You can tell he really loves his job. We went to four different taco places. They were all unique in their own way and they were so delicious. We also had different margaritas. The coconut cream one was my favourite. We went to a tequila store to sample various tequilas and we were educated on how tequila is made. Marco discovered that a gentleman in our party, it was his birthday. So he went out of his way to get a small cake with candles to surprise him. This was just such a sweet gesture! Thank you Marco for a wonderful, fun, delicious evening!

This Tour met and beat our expectations. Marco was our tour guide. He was a delight. Very personable very knowledgeable. The tacos were delicious and the margaritas and tequila was fantastic. Don’t hesitate to book this tour. It will make your day in Sayulita the perfect day.
