Visitaremos a Catedral de Matera, exemplar do estilo românico da Apúlia e dedicada à Madonna delle Bruna. Esta última é a efígie mariana mais querida pelo povo de Matera e é celebrada durante o festival homônimo em 2 de julho.
Entraremos em uma casa-caverna "habitando-a" por alguns momentos como a Matera de outros tempos. Vamos nos tornar um com o pensamento da agora desaparecida civilização camponesa para uma pequena jornada emocional. A visita também inclui a entrada na neviera e na igreja rupestre de S: Agostino al Casalnuovo. NB. caso esta caverna em particular seja inacessível, outra equivalente será visitada
É a igreja rochosa mais cênica e significativa do Sassi de Matera, posicionada dentro de um incrível afloramento rochoso que agora se tornou um símbolo da cidade. N.B. Sara was very sweet with the children and managed to capture their attention in a surprising way. Very knowledgeable and available, it was truly a pleasure to visit Matera with her, even for us adults!!!
