Sant Antoni: Segredos do Mercado e Tapas Gourmet

Kary and I had an absolutely wonderful evening exploring Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter with Xavier on Sunday, August 23, 2026, and if I could give this tour 15 out of 10, I would! Our tour began at the NH Podium in Barcelona at 6:00 PM, and Xavier was right on time. From the very beginning, he made us feel comfortable and welcome. There was never any awkward searching for something to talk about—the conversation just flowed naturally throughout the entire evening. Our first stop was a quaint little tapas place where we enjoyed some really good cold tapas. From there, Xavier took us on a walking tour through the Gothic Quarter, sharing the history and stories behind the places we were seeing. His knowledge made the neighborhood come alive in a way that simply walking through it on our own never could. He then took us to another wonderful tapas bar, where we enjoyed warm tapas along with live music. It was a great way to finish the evening. But honestly, what made the night special was Xavier himself. His knowledge, conversation, humor, and personality were exceptional. He has a way of making you feel completely at ease, as though you’ve known him much longer than a few hours. You can tell a lot about a person by how comfortable they make strangers feel, and Xavier has that gift. I have a feeling he must be a very good friend to the people fortunate enough to have him in their lives. We came for the tapas and the Gothic Quarter, but what we’ll remember most is the great time we had with you. 15 out of 10, Xavier! An exceptional guide, a wonderful host, and just an all-around great person. Thank you, Xavier, for such a memorable evening. Kary and I truly enjoyed our time with you!

We enjoyed this tour so much. We did this private tour with another couple so we had two guides. It was amazing! Aleix and Alisenda were so kind, knowledgeable and easy to talk with. They gave us great information about Barcelona and we had delicious food and drinks as well. Perfect evening!!

This tour was so much more than eating tapas….we learned so much about the history and architecture of Barcelona thanks to our wonderful guide Olga!

This tour with Nuria was amazing! This was our last stop on our Spain adventure and we were getting tired we almost didn’t go, but we were so glad we did! We were thinking what else could we do and taste but Nuria was amazing. We have the best time she did a tour of a different cathedral On our way to our first food stop that we didn’t goto before she gave his historical facts , tips and even where we should eat the next day since we didn’t have paella yet. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough!
