Tour guide was knowledgeable and the pace was easy. Traveling with a toddler the staff was very accommodating. The tour was enjoyable and would definitely recommend. Authentic Costa Rica experience.
I have been on this trip twice now and Enrique is an incredible tour guide! He’s knowledgeable and so friendly. The tour is a great glimpse at what the city has to offer and is packed with art, history, and a traditional meal!
The guide was kind. Perhaps he lacked a little more knowledge about Latin American history, but he did his best. The country, however, leaves much to be desired. There are beautiful places on the trip, but the people in general are not friendly; on the contrary, I find them arrogant, as if they did not want tourists. For example, at the Gold Museum, one of the caretakers told me that I could not use my phone's flash, but it seemed like she was arresting me, very rude. I have visited other countries in the region where the people are much friendlier.
Very beautiful tour with insightful historic information. The double decker bus was comfortable and I had a clear view of all sites. The crowd consisted of 8 people, making it easy to stay together with the group,
Bus very dirty, seats greasy
Hola Francisco Nos encantaría saber qué día hiciste el tour?
You really don’t see much but the outside of the buildings except for the museums. Lunch could be better, food ehh and rushed through
This walking and bus city tour is the perfect way to experience Costa Rica's capital. The combo of bus and walking sightseeing hits all the key spots — National Theater, Art Museum, Central Market, and public plazas — without wearing you out. Our guide was an art historian with incredible knowledge of the city's history, and the traditional Costa Rican lunch included in the tour was a highlight on its own. The guitar player on the bus was a fun touch that set the mood from the start. Tips for future travelers: Wear comfortable shoes, bring a small umbrella, and don't skip the Central Market — just wish we had more time there! Ideal for first-timers. Highly recommend!
Their timings were amazing. Our guide Enrique was very knowledgeable, sweet and kind guy. He was able to tell us all the highlights of the city. The trips into the Museums of arts and gold were good. The National Theater lobby was beautiful and lastly the lunch was good. A very good trip for half of the day.
Hector the guide was wonderful, driver very helpful and the music by William added a little something else.
Excursion was worth it! Would have liked to spend more time in el Mercado since time given isn’t enough to look around or shop.
