San Diego eBike Tours em Coronado

The tour guide does not ride an e-bike and you follow her so you do not get to fully utilize e-bike functions. You also don’t get to see as much of the island as you might otherwise have been able to visit. The staff at the bike shop were very accommodating.

THANK YOU SARA – from all 6 of us! Yes, the convention was great but our bike tour was even better! We were from 4 different states and all enjoyed the views, the history, the eBikes, the weather, the ice cream and all the pictures you took! We’ll be back for your other tour for sure!

Sara was a great guide. We appreciated her stories, descriptions of Coronado and strong attention to safety. The ride is properly leisurely and beautiful. A good amount of time was given for a stop at Hotel del Coronado.

This is my 2nd Coronado tour with Scenic Cycle Tours. My 1st one was years ago but this time I brought some friends. Coronado is soooo lovely, Sara is the BEST leader, E--bikes were great and we so loved the history Sara shared.

The tour covered just under 7 miles in two hours —-on electric bikes. Think about that pace. We rarely rode more than 3-4 minutes at a time before stopping . The tour was slow, monotonous, uninteresting with little historical information shared by our guide (despite the numerous stops). The tour was woefully slow and uninspiring. The island was beautiful but the guide had no nuggets of interesting info to share. We could have googled “Coronado Island” and learned more in 5 minutes than our guide shared in 2 hours. the guide was incredibly deliberate about safety information. She was unable to connect with her group of 6 fit riders who all mentioned they had ridden e-bikes extensively. We did not even ride the entire route to the end of the peninsula but rather did an out/back route to the hotel and back. The trip was excruciatingly slow, boring, and even though she repeatedly asked if we had questions—- she never really was able to answer any of them. You need a more interesting, better prepared and dynamic guide. Electric bikes were not needed—-as there are no hills. Next time we’ll rent $10 bikes and do a google search if we want to learn something interesting about the area/route-sorry.

We had a lovely tour of Coronado with Sara. If you’re looking for an easy, relaxing ride around the island (peninsula), then Sara might be just the guide for you! She’s very knowledgeable about the area and has a very pleasant demeanor. Pace is slow, but when you’re on vacation, it’s nice to move a bit slower and just enjoy the surroundings, especially the amazing San Diego temps! We had an enjoyable 2 hour tour with Sara.

Booking on a Wednesday, we were lucky to have a private bike tour of beautiful Coronado! We especially loved the views of San Diego and the beach near Hotel del Coronado. Sara is a very experienced biking guide, taking us on the best routes to see the coolest parts of Coronado. She had lots of interesting stories and historical notes to share. Safety while biking was very important given the route through the busy areas, but Sara gave great instructions to keep us safe. Great ride!

Really enjoyed our bike tour of Coronado with Sara. She set a comfortable pace and included stops for photos and to give us interesting information about the area. We are already planning another tour with her.

from time of reservation until the day of the tour, communication was great. E-bikes were very nice with some storage bags on them for your phones, purses, drinks etc. Ride was an easy ride that can be easily handled by beginners.
