Excursão de autocarro Salzburgo Hop-On Hop-Off

There was no HoHo bus at the designated area. I waited thirty minutes and nothing. There was no office either - just construction where the Viator map said the office is. Very disappointing. Pre-paid in full and no bus. I am not happy. Zero Stars.

We appreciate the chance to use this bus in many different cities we visit. The one we took in Salzburg seemed a bit short (1 hour loop), and there was no top deck as there are in many cities. I understand that the city structure may necessitate this to be the case, but it would have been good to know that. I also thought that the price was a bit high, considering these two items as well. The audio worked great and the bus was clean and comfortable.

We only had 1 line available to us. Compared to other hop on hop off bus tours we’ve done, this one was relatively short/less stops and not masses of information given so not the best value for money. It did however have a second channel in English that you could listen to round the tour regarding The Sound of Music which was a bonus. As Salzburg is quite a small city and the bus services are good, we didn’t need it so much for hopping on and off to visit different sights.

Nice driver who took time to share more details than provided in the earbuds. Hit all the highlights and some of the back country which was lovely.

Because of a street festival, only one bus running and we waited over an hour for it. Some stops unavailable. Don't buy these tickets 5hrough Viator, buy them directly from the company so you can decide if it's worth it.

Had a wet day in Salzburg, in my experiences in Europe these buses are the best idea to do 1stly. Do the complete loop 1st to get the layout of the area then get off where you want to see more. As it was wet on my visit I just did the 1 hour loop and then got back off at Mirabelle platz (same as starting point) then went and had dinner in the town centre before going back to hotel. You got to see most of the sites out the window. Use the ear phones and listen to the history also. Driver has helpful also.

Excellent tour! I loved the city and enjoyed the sights and the commentaries. Loved the background music!

I read the negative review and have to say that was not my experience. The bus hits each stop about every 30 minutes with a 15 minute break between last and first stops. We did the 24 hour pass and did one complete round without getting off to hear the history and learn about the city. Next round we did the hop on hop off option to get off and look around. I definitely recommend if you are unfamiliar with Salzburg and want a quick overview.

They dont run very often...at least not in April. There are not a lot of stops. I think if we had not already taken the Sound of Music Tour we would have used this more.
