Absolutely wonderful tour. Roberta gave us an excellent tour of Salvador, giving us a full appreciation of the different cultures of the area.
Very informative tour! Gustavo included our wishes and adapted the tour so individually to us.
Met at the port by Antonilson on time. Traveled part car part walking. Driver excellent navigation of roads. Antonio was so knowledgeable and informative taking us to many places and generally giving us an amazing tour. I would thoroughly recommend him.
A very good guide (Joao Luis) who knows all the history of Brazil and Salvador of Bahia, he speaks perfect French I recommend it without problems Very rewarding excursion
Our guide, Jose was one of the best! We booked an hour, but he spent 5 with us taking us to every part of the city. It was a combination of driving, stopping at important sites, and walking. Our tour took us full circle around Salvador. Jose was incredibly knowledgeable explaining the history of the city as well as the history of many of the churches and buildings of interest. He was entertaining and offered us options along the way of things to do and see. We did ask for a guide who speaks Portuguese, but as someone learning the language, I was able to understand 95% of what he said. He is learning English so he understands the need to speak slowly. If you have an intermediate level of the language or a fellow traveler who speaks the language ask for this guide! He truly is one of the best.
City is rundown and the interesting sites are not well maintained. Port is smelly and requires a shuttle to get to the tour bus. Part of the tour requires another shuttle ride. So you have 4 shuttle rides and two bus rides.
Ronaldo is an experienced local tour guide who is passionate about his city. He showed us many parts of the city we would never have seen on our own. He knew all of the pretty picture points. His knowledge of the city and his English were both excellent. We would certainly tour with him again.
Great guide. Gotvyo very interesting places and hugely informative about his city. Most enjoyable day.
Our tour guide picked us up just outside the cruise terminal. He was very informative and knowledgeable, with a very happy and friendly personality and perfect English. He took us to places the big crowds from the cruise line shore excursions did not go. A small group tour is always better because you could hear the commentary from the guide and he was able to answer any questions and you never have the feeling of getting hurried along.
