Conheça a incrível Reserva Nacional de Salinas e Aguada Blanca, lar de uma grande variedade de vida selvagem, incluindo aves nativas e migratórias, camelídeos sul-americanos, diversificada flora alta andina e, acima de tudo, uma vista espetacular da Lagoa Salinas e do grande montanhas que o rodeiam, como o vulcão Ubinas e Pichu Pichu.

Esta fabulosa excursão começa no Centro Histórico de Arequipa às 6h. A primeira parada é no mirante do vulcão em Chiguata para apreciar o imponente vulcão Misti, um lugar onde a paisagem e os terraços incas tornam a visita uma experiência inesquecível. Visitaremos também uma das igrejas mais antigas e tradicionais da cidade de Chiguata. Também tomaremos café da manhã neste lugar. O preço é aproximadamente S/7,00. Isso inclui o tempo que gastamos viajando de um lugar para outro.
Nossa jornada continua com transporte entre vulcões, vendo queñuales e a flora ao redor.
Depois subiremos ao mirante do vulcão Pichu Pichu, a 4.300 metros acima do nível do mar. Deste ponto teremos outra perspectiva do vulcão Misti e da cidade de Arequipa. Aqui podemos observar uma fauna extraordinária (vicunhas, lhamas, alpacas e guanacos) e uma flora (yaretales, queñuales). A próxima parada é no Salar e nos corpos d'água de Salinas. Dependendo da época, podemos observar flamingos e ilusões de ótica provocadas pelos espelhos de água típicos desta zona natural. Aqui estamos considerando o horário de retorno à cidade de Arequipa

Excursion from 6am to 1pm to Laguna de Salinas. This was our second excursion with this agency (Colca Canyon full day done before). By going directly through Puriy, we paid the same Award (75 soles/person) as for Colca, for fewer services: 1/2 day excursion versus 1 full day, and breakfast is not included (contrary to what is written on their website), while it was in Colca. Other people on our bus paid much less by going through another platform/agency (?) Things to do, we were disappointed that we didn't have more time to see the animals in the reserve. On the plus side, we were a lot of French in the group and the Guide exceptionally toured in Spanish/French instead of Spanish/English. In summary, average excursion.
I traveled with them to Laguna de Salinas, my guide was Franco, he gave us a lot of information about the entire tour and above all, he helped us take photos.

19 people instead of 15 max. The minibuses are not comfortable (also full and not air-conditioned) for a stony road. We cross the volcanoes, it looks very beautiful but only 1 stop at the bottom in front of the Misti. Stops are limited to Salinas 1 hour on a 6 hour trip with a meal at 3pm. Breakfast is lousy, lunch too and expensive for the quality in a place with no view. You might as well leave 1 hour later and enjoy breakfast at the hotel. In short, barely 1 hour of stopping in the heart of the Salinas lagoon. It's great but no point of view. Already full of groups present, no walks even though the site lends itself to it. We have to leave when vicuñas cross the salt lakes... I lend my binoculars but the guide doesn't offer anything to observe them. A quick stop to photograph on the side of the Alpaca road. But quickly he goes to the thermal baths, paying for it already at 12 p.m. 1 hour wait if you don't want to do it (20c is not very hot!) at 4500 m. We're leaving for a 2-hour drive, it's 1 p.m., meal at 3 p.m. yay! .another 1 hour to return to Arequipa. And here’s the trick…

An amazing day with a super helpful and happy guide (Mario), we loved every second of it. The highlights for us were standing on the mirrored salt flat, taking in the stunning scenery, having a dip in the thermal pool and seeing lots of wild Llama & Alpacas!
