Comece o passeio de jeep e você visitará pontos de referência como a aldeia abandonada, centenária de Kuldhara, lago jessiri (oásis no meio do deserto de thar) antes de continuar para as dunas douradas do deserto de Thar. É uma experiência no deserto durante a noite onde você dorme ao ar livre em dunas de areia, sem teto acima de você - apenas o céu aberto sob as estrelas. Longe das luzes da cidade, o deserto oferece vistas incrivelmente claras de estrelas, constelações e, às vezes, até mesmo a Via Láctea. Você chega às dunas por safari de camelos geralmente no final da tarde À medida que o sol se põe, há tempo para chá e lanches, relaxar, tirar fotos e desfrutar do silêncio. O homem de camelo faz comida fresca tradicional em fogo de madeira, e depois do jantar dormir debaixo das estrelas e desfrutar da noite estrelada em charpais (camas) ou colchões espessos. De acordo com o folclore local, a aldeia foi abandonada durante a noite no início do século 19. Salim Singh, então Diwan (ministro) de Jaisalmer, supostamente procurou se casar com a filha do chefe da aldeia. Quando os moradores se recusaram, ele os ameaçou com consequências graves. Para proteger sua honra, os aldeões, juntamente com os de 83 aldeias vizinhas, fugiram, amaldiçoando a terra para permanecer desolada para sempre. O estranho silêncio da aldeia e as estruturas abandonadas alimentaram inúmeras histórias de fantasmas. Visitantes e entusiastas paranormais relatam ouvir vozes, sentir resfriados repentinos e testemunhar fenômenos inexplicáveis. Em 2013, uma equipe paranormal baseada em Delhi alegou que seu drone falhou sobre a aldeia, atribuindo-o a interferência sobrenatural.
Jaseri Pond serve como uma fonte de água vital para a vida selvagem local e aves migratórias, tornando-se um refúgio para entusiastas da natureza e fotógrafos. O lago é cercado por vegetação exuberante e dunas de areia, criando um cenário pitoresco que contrasta com o terreno desértico circundante.

Very good experience with my friend. Highly recommend
It is a trip for a private party but you will be near other small camps or bigger clamping sites. This unfortunately reduces the feeling of being ‘alone in the desert’. The cook and his aid were very nice.
Unforgettable silent starry night in the desert! Excellent guide Ali told us a lot about the desert and the villages around Jaisalmer. Camel men Ganesh and Umed guided us on camels through the desert and Umed cooked delicious food for dinner and breakfast! They were all very kind and did their best to let us feel at home! Highly recommended!

Our time was great! We enjoyed the camel riding and played on the sand dunes. As it faded into night, we saw so many stars and sat around a small campfire. The beds were also very comfortable, and we all slept great. We traveled in early September and the weather was great. We were unsure if we were going to see any sand dunes, but as we got closer with the camels, we were not disappointed to find a fairly large dune for us to camp on. Overall, it was a great experience.

It was a wonderful experience with Desert Eagle safari. They were amazing hosts who took care of all our needs and were a very friendly accommodating staff. The package included camel safari and dune bashing along with cultural show and accommodation. Everything was very well done. It was absolutely a wonderful experience that I’ll never forget.

I recommend this activity for everybody and girls alone can feel very good and safe on this tour. The guys working there are very professionals, interesting and cool. They will take care of you and give you a good explanations about the local life and the local culture. The tour is amazing, excellent food and magic moments on the desert.

Wow ..I am short of words to describe my experience at thar dessert ..these guys are highly professional as compare to other safari tours . Well spoken and punctual . No hidden charges . They deliver exactly what they have mentioned in the package . Very safe for girls as I was traveling solo . I highly recommended . If you are in Jaisalmer pls go for this specific group for activities .

I come to know about desert eagle safari by Golden eagle hostel threw booking.com it was just awesome. I club with 10forighner group. Every thing was well arranged camel ride sun set star at mid night sun rise on dunes every part has it's own story. Team meals and arrangmets was wow thanks to desert eagle safari for sure will plan again with my friends.
