Esta experiência foi projetada para atender amigos, familiares ou grupos (ocupação mínima dupla) que gostariam de fazer um safári sem ter que necessariamente dormir no parque. Com uma duração total de passeio de 7 horas saindo de Joanesburgo, a Dinokeng Game Reserve é o maior santuário de vida selvagem dos "Big Five" de Gauteng, localizado a 1 hora e 40 minutos ao norte de Joanesburgo e a 40 minutos de Pretória. A duração de uma sessão de safari é normalmente de 2 horas e 30 minutos nos caminhões 4x4 abertos dirigidos pelo guarda florestal residente, que narrará curiosidades sobre o parque enquanto navega pelas vastas trilhas empoeiradas. Avistamentos de animais populares são hipopótamos, elefantes, rinocerontes, leões, búfalos, girafas, zebras, kudus, chacais, impalas, gnus e crocodilos.

A Reserva de Caça Dinokeng é o maior santuário de vida selvagem dos "Cinco Grandes" de Gauteng, a 1 hora e 40 minutos ao norte de Joanesburgo e a 40 minutos de Pretória. Os populares safaris ao nascer do sol (5h30 no verão ou 6h no inverno) ou ao pôr do sol (16h no verão ou 15h30 no inverno) são os melhores horários para procurar os Big 5. A duração é normalmente de 2 horas e 30 minutos nos caminhões 4x4 abertos dirigidos por guardas florestais, que narram fatos sobre os animais enquanto navegam pelo terreno. Hipopótamos, elefantes, rinocerontes, leões, chitas, leopardos, búfalos, girafas, zebras, kudus, chacais, impalas, gnus e crocodilos estão entre os locais populares para esperar. An amazing afternoon safari, Jacob our guide was so welcoming and friendly. We were collected from the hotel by Jacob and taken directly to the reserve for the drive. The drive itself was fantastic we got see to so many animals and Lovemore our guide on the game drive made the most of the time we had. Our young daughter will have many memories from this tour and I would recommend this for any family looking for a game drive.
What wonderful time we had throughout that entire afternoon. Amazing wildlife sightings, from the Cheetahs you spotted that set the tone of the rest of the safari game drive. Our local site safari ranger pulled off an amazing series of wonderful wildlife findings during the sunset Game drive that we will cherish forever. We look forward to your return to South Africa.
Make sure you layer up for early morning game rides. Make sure you have warm hat and possibly a scarf to cover your face because of the wind. Our driver Luke was fantastic. We were able to see beautiful animals. Such a great experience.
We felt welcomed with helpfulness and kindness, the Service was organized with care and attention. Everything perfect, accompanied in every step. We met a really nice person who loves his job. Preferable to the big tour operators who have lost their souls.

The driver (Mr Solace) was very patient and kind. The drive was nice, but the wildlife sightings were disappointing. didn't see the big 5.

Jacob was knowledgeable about safaris in general, and about the DinoKeng reserve specifically. His vehicle was clean and accommodating as he offered quite a few lifetime insights. I will recommend him to those I know in the USA traveling to Johannesburg.
