Safari do Parque Nacional Yala de Ella

Overall a good experience but would recommend for a group rather than solo travel. What I liked: overall a good experience with safe car travel to/from Yala with Gamini and good safari experience with Tharusha. Tharusha is very well versed in the safari with animal information and great at spotting animals, especially the iguana. With him I felt I didn’t need a separate guide. Solo vs Group: while it was nice to have a solo booking it was also quite expensive for one with double the tour booking price and additional fees to go into Yala for one - almost $250 for me to go on tour alone. Might be ok cost wise for some but next time I would go with a group. Communication: Kasun was helpful in organizing the tour with driver and safari guide. Unfortunately there was miscommunication between safari and coming back to Ella having to wait 45 for the driver to reappear but Tharusha was great in trying to contact the driver and Kasun when we couldn’t get through. Overall a good tour but I would recommend with Tharusha and for a group vs solo.

A great safari tour to see animals in the wild. Deer, water buffaloes, mongoose, elephants, peacocks, wild boar, jungle fowls, ducks, wild rabbits,crocodiles, birs of many types and more.

Good experience for an affordable price. The service was good, everything as arranged. The car and the jeep were comfortable enough. The only disadvantage was the fact that the driver who picked us up from the hotel spoke little English, so it was sometimes difficult to communicate.
