Esta incrível aventura nos leva a Bwindi 'The Impenetrable Forest' na ponta montanhosa do sudoeste de Uganda, onde você terá a oportunidade de rastrear gorilas da montanha. Itinerário
Voo AeroLink para Kisoro, caminhada e canoa pelo Lago Mutanda Você então “se instala” em uma canoa por 2-3 horas de cruzeiro suave e relaxado pelo lago, apreciando a bela paisagem. Após o almoço em um restaurante nas margens do lago, continuação a pé até Rubuguri (9km – 2/3 horas) onde você encontra o veículo e segue por mais 10 km até o Lodge em Nkuringo (aproximadamente 1 hora). Claro que você também pode ser pego pelo veículo no lago e dirigir até o Lodge.
Após o café da manhã, por volta das 7h45, com almoço embalado e água potável, você será transferido para a sede do Parque Nacional para o briefing sobre o que fazer e o que não fazer enquanto estiver com os gorilas. Você então continua para a floresta para o início do rastreamento real dos gorilas.
Esta manhã, depois de um café da manhã, desfrute de observação de pássaros na Floresta de Bolso de Nombe - fazia parte do Parque Nacional Impenetrável de Bwindi e ainda é bastante impenetrável, mas foi isolado porque as pessoas precisavam de mais terra para viver e cultivar. Pode ser alcançado a pé (aprox. 1 hora e 2 horas para voltar) ou de veículo e a visita dura aprox. 2 horas, dependendo do interesse dos hóspedes. Almoço no alojamento e às 14h, saída para Buniga Forest Trail Walk, um projeto informativo da USAID e da comunidade Batwa local. A tribo Batwa foi forçada a deixar sua casa no Parque Nacional da Floresta Impenetrável de Bwindi em 1991, quando foi declarada Patrimônio da Humanidade pela UNESCO apenas para gorilas. Eles viviam na floresta como caçadores-coletores nômades por milênios, em perfeito equilíbrio com a flora e a fauna ao redor. Mudar-se e viver de repente em comunidades com um estilo de vida completamente diferente provou ser um enorme desafio. Agora eles sobrevivem da melhor maneira possível e ganham a vida explicando sua vida anterior na floresta e sua rica herança. Continuação da caminhada pela comunidade para visitar o fitoterapeuta tradicional e o ferreiro negro.

Everything about this 5 day experience was top notch. Remmy was an incredible guide - great energy, good vibes, helpful, knowledgeable, & always kept us feeling safe. Lodges were beautiful with great service & of course the animals/wild life did not disappoint. Added some optional hikes/walks to keep us active. The trip was unbelievable. The itinerary was thoughtfully packed with amazing activities and beautiful scenic drives that made travel time enjoyable. The gorilla and chimpanzee trekking experiences were truly once-in-a-lifetime moments that we will never forget. Our guide Remmy was the best tour guide we could have asked for during our trip to Uganda. He was always prompt, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. He truly made the entire experience special. We felt comfortable with him right away, and by the end of the trip, it honestly felt like we were traveling with family. We spent a week being guided by Remmy across both Uganda and Rwanda to do a gorilla habituation experience in Uganda and a ‘normal’ gorilla experience in Rwanda (both of which are very worth it). We’re fortunate enough to travel a lot - Remmy was genuinely one of the best guides we’ve ever encoutered: knowledgeable, caring, fun, calm. I’d hightly recommend you stay at Nkuringo Lodge in Bwindi, and ask for Remmy to guide you around - we had a fantastic time!

We had the most incredible 5-day trip with Nkuringo Safaris to Bwindi National Park to see the gorillas: truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Highly recommended! I found Nkuringo safaris after doing a ton of research online, and the gorilla trekking was something my mom and I had been elated to add as the end of our trip after a week long safari in Tanzania (with a different provider). From first contact to last dropoff, the one word I would use to describe our time with Nkkuringo Safaris in Uganda was *SEAMLESS*. As someone who works a lot around project management, I can appreciate the systems and behind the scenes that must happen here to coordinate all the details while still making the experience personable and memorable. Incredible experience. Attentive to every detail, top level personalized to ensure you’re comfortable, safe, that any unforeseen events are resolved (like luggage arriving late, losing money, needing extra help during tracking ). Took care of everything since I arrived at the airport till I checked in at the end. Hotels were extra comfortable and instagrammable! Emma, my guide, made sure I had enough water, food, the right attire… more than I did! He even gave me a history lesson when I asked, and we talked music and discussed human nature. We laughed maybe too much. Excellent road trip partner. 100% recommended

This trip was AMAZING!! Moreen helped create a perfect itinerary, she was quick to respond and communicated everything clearly, and helped us when our flight was delayed so that we wouldn’t miss a minute of our trip. We also had the pleasure of working with Milton who was fantastic!
