We just returned from a truly magical 3-day safari in the Maasai Mara, made unforgettable by our exceptional guide, Sam. From the moment we set off, he proved to be an outstanding host, deeply knowledgeable about the reserve, skilled at finding the best wildlife sightings, and wonderfully patient and flexible throughout the trip, allowing us to take as much time as we needed for photos. Thanks to Sam, we witnessed breathtaking moments: a pride of lions feasting on a buffalo, an intense standoff between a cheetah and a baboon, and, to top it all off, a memorable visit to a Maasai village where we experienced life in a manyatta firsthand. This journey gave us memories we will cherish forever, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommended!

We booked a 3-day safari in the Masai Mara with Explorer Kenya, and it was incredible from start to finish. Accommodations at the Mara Simba Lodge were wonderful. However, our guide, Vincent, truly made the experience unforgettable. He picked us up in Nairobi and stayed with us throughout the trip. He was so knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about wildlife and the Maasai culture. Thanks to his sharp eye, we spotted three of the Big 5 within the first 90 minutes of our first game drive! He went above and beyond to make us comfortable and to ensure we didn’t miss a thing. We learned so much and felt completely taken care of the entire time. We highly recommend Explorer Kenya. Ask for Vincent, you won’t regret it!

Our second superb safari with Kenya Explorer. After a delayed flight, they were very flexible and managed to change plans to suit. Anthony, our guide, was very friendly, chatty and knowledgeable. Robert and Mary at head office were always helpful and quick to respond to emails. The mara was brilliant, beautiful and we saw so many animals.
