Robinson was great and we had a great time. Very comfortable ride. The food was so good. Make sure you come ready to eat.
This trip is a wonderful way to see how the locals live, taste some wonderful local cuisine. The food was awesome.. We had a good time with the rum tasting the mamawanna, the coffee and chocolate farms. Robinson our tour guide was WONDERFUL! His knowledge is top notch and he is so polite. By the end of the day he and Teo (the driver) felt like family. I definitely recommend taking this tour. It is also a REALLY value. You get more then what you pay for.
We had a great tour guide and an enjoyable experience, even with the rainy weather. Thank you driver Sandy and tour guide Mr Robertson
My 16-year-old son and I had a great time on this tour. It was a great experience to see the town and interact with locals. I was able to buy some spices in the market. My son’s favorite experience was the trip to the beach. We felt safe the entire time and the guide was super friendly and spoke English.
This tour was awesome! A great way to get away from the beach & see more of the Dominican! Robinson & Tito were great and very personable. They were organized and made it an easy experience. Very worth it & we had a variety of activities- horseback riding, visiting the church, seeing a traditional market, lunch by the river, a traditional dominican house where they showed us how they make coffee/chocolate, a cigar factory, and the beach. I would suggest you bring your own water & cash for the various activities! Highly recommend!!
Super fun experience! Highly recommend!! My husband and I throughly enjoyed this excursion. Our tour guide Darwin was very informative and nice. He made sure we stayed hydrated the whole trip, which was super kind of him. He also went out of his way to get us all snacks since our group was hungry before it was lunchtime. We never felt unsafe during the tour while exploring. He kept track of all 8 of us within the group but also let us look around and explore, never rushing us. The authentic restaurant food was super delicious!! It was one of the biggest highlights of the tour for me. You get to horseback ride, make cigars, see how they make chocolate, see the local markets, church, school house and more… every fun packed tour compared to others.. DONT hesitant to book this: you won’t be disappointed!!
If you are looking for way to see what the DR is like beyond the resort, BOOK THIS! It’s a very eclectic and interesting excursion that allows you to see how an average citizen of the country lives. My wife and I wanted to book something like this and it totally met our expectations, it will keep you busy and having fun the whole time. Also I must mention that our guide, Wester Martinez, was fantastic!
Thank you for choosing us!
great experience. the horse ride was a tiny bit short and muddy but still fun and you got to take beautiful pictures. the included lunch was amazing and it was near a waterfall so great photo opp. highly recommend
The tour in an air-conditioned van was very comfortable. The tour guides were excellent and told everything in understandable English. I would particularly like to highlight our driver and guide JHORA JI.
Sandy was a phenomenal tour guide! It was great to get out into the country side. Lunch was good and we especially enjoyed the cigar demonstration. Plan for a slightly longer day but worth the trip!
