As Ruínas Maias de Chacchoben são a atração mais popular e visitada para passar um ótimo dia na Costa Maya. Fica a aproximadamente 55 minutos de carro do Porto da Costa Maya. Este local está localizado a poucos quilômetros da cidade de Chacchoben, de onde deriva seu nome. A tradução da palavra maia "Chacchoben" refere-se a "O Lugar do Milho Vermelho". As estruturas deste local são caracterizadas por grandes templos e enormes plataformas que datam de 700 DC. c.

Ao chegar ao porto de Costa Maya, após desembarcar do seu navio de cruzeiro, você terá que ir até a saída principal, onde estão os táxis amarelos. Lá, temos transporte com o nosso logotipo e um dos nossos motoristas pode levá-lo diretamente ao nosso escritório, onde faremos o seu check-in. Você esperará cerca de 15 minutos antes de sair para sua excursão e poderá desfrutar de uma bebida de cortesia. Em seguida, partirá para sua primeira parada na Zona Arqueológica de Chacchoben, que levará aproximadamente uma hora para chegar.

No final do seu passeio pela magnífica cidade de Chacchoben. Seu motorista o levará até a Laguna de Siete Colores (Bacalar), que leva aproximadamente 45 minutos de carro para chegar. Onde você pode desfrutar de uma deliciosa refeição local e duas bebidas (alcoólicas ou não alcoólicas) incluídas por pessoa; e você também pode nadar e apreciar suas belas cores.
Depois de concluir seu passeio pelo sítio arqueológico e aproveitar nossa linda lagoa de sete cores. Seu motorista o levará de volta ao porto de Costa Maya, o que levará aproximadamente uma hora e 45 minutos a duas horas para chegar.

Ruins were great! Saw some monkeys as well. Seven color Lagoon Baclar was amazing. Victor our guide brought us right to the perfect spot, lunch was great and the water was amazing
Toucan tours went beyond above and beyond. The lagoons were beautiful and a great break from people. Everything was very well planned. Food and drinks included were outstanding. We were so lucky to have Rual, he was so kind and helpful. Thank you!
We loved it ! Our guide was Huitzi and he was great ! He was really helpful and went out of his way to accomodate us. We loved the temple and the blue lagoon was beautiful. He made sure to bring us back way on time for our ship.

The tour was very efficient providing good directions for meeting spot just outside of cruise port. It’s about an hour plus drive by bus to and from the ruins with about an hour to see the ruins themselves… 3 areas. Best part we saw monkeys in the trees. The bus driver was very nice and brought delicious pineapples during the provided lunch. I have a gluten allergy and they were very accommodating. Lunch included tacos of choice of meat. I had mine with vegetables instead of the shells. The resort area by the lake is very nice and we got to relax, swim, and enjoy lunch there for about an hour in a half. Then another hour drive back to cruise ship. We had about 30-45 minutes post tour to walk back from bus drop off to cruise ship. We were a bit nervous but made it no problem. All in all a really nice day out if you want to see some ruins, learn about the past, and do not mind lots of driving. :)

Awesome shore excursion. Easy to find right outside the port. Directions were exactly as described. Met by friendly staff and were very welcoming. Driver was great and reliable. Tour guide was knowledgeable and made it entertaining. Lagoon was relaxing and lunch was excellent. Thank you for the great service and tour!

Tucán tours has a team of professionals who give envy. Good people, willing us to have a good time. In an 8 seater van, we went to the ruins of Chakkoben and the Laguna Bacalar. Huitzi, our Aztec driver and guide, with his kindness and professionalism led us to the adventure of the Maya and finally to the Laguna Bacalar, precisely in the Hotelito el Paraíso, where a rich Mexican lunch (fajitas) and a very good margarita awaited us. There was nothing Ke Huitzi could improve. He was fantastic. Hopefully they can get to know him and get carried away with him and that travel agency in general.

Our group of 4 adults and 4 boys aged 9-12 had a great tour of the ruins and 7 colours lagoon. The guides were friendly and informative and the lunch provided was higher-end than expected. Highlight for me was the pineapple from the fruit stand served with tajin and jalapeño powder.
