Peter was a great tour guide. He was punctual and very easy to talk to. Very knowledgeable about the area. Allowed us to have free time in the city to enjoy a fabulous lunch! Highly recommend
Thank you so much!!
We were 12 persons on a private tour to two wineries and lunch in Ronda. Our guides were great and the arrangements at the wineries were perfect. Highly recommended!
Thank you very much for your review.
We looked forward to this event as it was a birthday gift for our mother. Our driver was very good, but the wine tour was a total disappointment. We visited this winery in hopes of tasting a range of wines and learning about the process. Too much time was spent talking in poor English and very little time tasting. We paid A LOT to do this tour and were promised tapas and wines under an oak. After walking an hour in the heat while the few slices of cheese and sausage stewed in the hot environment indoors, we finallly got to taste a few centliters. Not their best wines, but very ordinary table wines. Three wines were included in the tasting and two of them were already open. She promptly removed the wine glasses and bottles… we had to taste the two reds in the white wine glass and she snatched the chips and crackers from under our noses. We had thought about buying a bottle or two, but their card machine had not, and was not working. Warning for this place. Nice atmosphere, but poor service. Oh, I forgot to add that she interrupted her LONG presentation with a private phone call. However, Thomas our driver made the rest of our tour to Ronda interesting and he explained the history of Ronda. He tried his best to make the rest of the tour interesting, a big thanks to Thomas.
Hi Sandra. On behalve of Thomas and I as owners of the tour company we really regret that you didn´t like the wine tour part of your day trip and we appreciate your comments about Thomas. We are very sorry that it didn´t meet your expectations. Apparently Gema, the guide, didn´t have a good day because of personal reasons (she is usually very good and other reviews corroborate that), this of course doesn´t excuse her and for that reason we really apologice and will make sure it doesn´t happen again.
Our tour guide Thomas was fantastic during our excursion. He even took us to an extra location! I would gladly recommend taking a trip with costa excursions and find it hard to envision anyone having a bad experience using their service.
Thank you very much for your kind words
Our driver/guide, Peter, was knowledgeable and made our drive to the winery and Ronda comfortable and entertaining. The winery portion was interesting with a tour then tastings of one white and two reds accompanied by tapas. Next was a short drive to Ronda. Peter took us on a walking tour which included the bullring, he also made lunch reservations for us. Great food and an amazing view. The drive from Marbella and back provide spectacular views.
We took a tour to Ronda, including a trip to a winery and a visit to the city center, as part of our honeymoon in Marbella. Our driver Thomas was excellent! He was both friendly and informative. We learned so much about the present and past of Ronda and had a lot of fun along the way. Highly recommend!
Thank you for your kind review. We hope you guys have a wonderful honeymoon and look forward seeying you again in Spain

What a wonderful day we had at the winery at Ronda. The views were spectacular, and all the people we met were so friendly. Our tour was informative and educational. The wine and tapas were delicious. Our driver was so nice! He even stopped in Ronda for us on the way back to show us a bit of the lovely town and so we could purchase some local meat, bread, and cheese. We had a truly excellent experience.

The Melonera Winery is a wonderful excursion from Marbella. We started by ascending the mountains north of Marbella.....up, up, up, the mountains and into the Ronda area. Our guide at Melonera, Gema, was warm and welcoming. We had a brief tour of the vineyard and wine cellar along with a lesson on the history of wine making in the region. The wine tasting and tapas that followed were incredible. We hope there we are able to purchase the wine in the US! After booking the tour, we realized that the town of Ronda should not be missed, but this tour did not include a stop in Ronda. Our driver, Peter, was very accommodating and agreed to take us to Ronda on the return trip. He showed us the New Bridge and the Bull Fighting Arena in out brief stop in Ronda. Peter also took us below the bridge to get a different perspective of the bridge and town. Both Ronda and the Melonera Winery are not to be missed.
