Rio Premium City Tour - Compartilhado ou Privado

Both Thuane and Tiago really went out of their way to make sure our trip was memorable. We had an amazing time on all the 3 tours we chose. They made sure we were safe and gave us enough information which made our holiday comfortable and go without any issues.

We did the City tour last week with Trip One. Our tour guide Jose was great, very knowledgeable & really easy to get on with. We went to all the sites in one day, Sugar loaf, Christ the Redeemer, steps etc and we had the best day despite the heat wave! It went up to 44 degrees! We wanted to do another tour with Trip One but I was unfortunately unwell so it meant we didn’t do other trips. Trip One were really responsive & helpful throughout the booking process & the guide/driver turned up on time to collect for our tour. Every thing was great & would highly recommend Trip One.

Tiago and Thuane were professional and efficient from the moment we started planning. We wanted an organic perspective of this vibrant city from a local all while taking in the major sights and sounds of Rio. We had an amazing time with Tiago and Thuane on our week long stay in Rio. From the beginning Tiago helped plan our itinerary after reviewing our wants and needs. He then gave us some suggestions to make our anniversary day special. Tiago also helped find some vegetarian friendly restaurants. The day we flew out the weather wasn't looking great so Tiago rearranged our itinerary to ensure we went on trips on dry days. They both went out of their way to answer our questions and helped us find souvenirs on our way. Trips we went on: 1. Rio Private City Tour - We saw the main sights of Rio (Sugarloaf, Christ the Redeemer, Selaron Steps, Santa Teresa and Metropolitan Steps). Thuane explained throughout the day with lots of interesting facts and history. 2. Floating Breakfast and Boat Trip - Our anniversary day so we went for breakfast on a floating restaurant, this was a relaxing breakfast with a lovely view. There were lots of traditional cakes to try with coffee and a couple of savoury breads, however I found this meal limited for savoury vegetarian options. From here we went on an informative boat ride to view the city from a different angle and even saw planes landing nearby. 3. Arraial Do Cabo - Private Boat Trip - We went on our own boat to look around the Brazilian Caribbean and stopped over at a beach as well as swimming in the sea. This was followed by a tour of the local village and lunch. Again Tiago found us a restaurant with some vegetarian options, enough that we were stuffed! This was a long day because we had to travel from Rio however we had stopovers for a yummy breakfast and coffee break on the way back. 4. Brazil Dance Show - This show was a stunning array of the different dances from around Brazil with lovely music and costumes. 5. Rio History Walking Tour - This was a lovely tour with Elaine who was so sweet. We loved finding out about the history of Rio and seeing the beautiful churches. Tiago had found us a great restaurant for this tour with lots of vegetarian food. I highly recommend the Trip One team if you are visiting Rio as they are really knowledgeable and go above and beyond. Here are a couple of ways they went the extra mile: Tiago was always willing to answer all my concerns and questions before we actually arrived. Tiago rearranged our itinerary the day before to take into account the weather forecast. On our anniversary, we were gifted a lovely card and treat. Tiago stopped along the way at times to let us try some local foods and drinks. All 3 guides were very caring towards my son and tried to include him in many discussions, this made him feel very comfortable around them that he would look forward to our next outing. The night of the Brazil Dance Show the lights were very powerful that my son wasn't able to watch the show. Tiago left the show and waited in the foyer with my son, whilst we continued to watch the show. The fact that my son was so comfortable with Tiago that he agreed really touched my heart. When the show finished we saw them talking and it turns out they had a lovely time talking about mutual hobbies. We felt like family with Tiago and Thuane by the end of the week and hope to return again one day. I would 100% recommend you book Trip One to show you around Rio.

I had the best time on my trip with Thuane and Tiago! I had an 8am flight arrival in Rio and wanted to make the most of my first day, so I booked this private tour to see all the main sites in the city. The pickup was super easy with a personal greeting at the airport. During the drive to Sugarloaf Mountain, Thuane and Tiago explained some of the history of Rio as well as background on some of the sites we would visit. More importantly for me, we just enjoyed our conversation and talked about local life in Brazil vs the United States. They were happy to answer any questions I had and were curious about my experiences as well. The views from Sugarloaf are breathtaking. The Bay of Rio is an incredible site to see. The two mountains at this stop afford a 360 view of the city, including views of Christ the Redeemer. We moved from there to the Selaron steps. They were crowded! Thuane was great about navigating through the crowd, explaining some details about the steps I hadn’t found in my own research prepping for the trip. She’s an amazing photographer too! From there we made quick stops at the Church, Maracana Stadium, Sambradrome, and more. We then had a traditional lunch at a futball club. Again, the real joy of this part was just conversing with Tiago and Thuane! Finally we went to Christ the Redeemer. It was raining, but Thuane pushed forward and got drenched with me so I could experience the site and get some pictures. From there it was an easy transfer back. This is certainly a long and busy day, but a perfect way to see the city. I can’t recommend Thuane and Tiago more!

Trip One was amazing. We are a family of 4. We did a private tour of Rio (Sugarloaf, Christ, Selaron, Santa Teresa etc) as well as organized our airport pickup. Thuane was our tour guide and she was simply amazing! We loved the full day tour as we got to see all the major sights! Each sight was just stunning in it's own regard! Apart from the tour, I just loved how hospitable the TripOne crew was from Tiago to Thuane! Excellent treatment, everything very organized, a trip of 17 relatives and everything flowed wonderfully, without setbacks or delays, it was WONDERFUL!
