Rhodes Self Drive 4x4 Safari Adventure - coleta no norte

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 The Bumpy Safari Tour in Rhodes was simply an unforgettable experience! You drive a Suzuki Jimny through beautiful landscapes and discover places you probably would never have seen on your own. Everything was super organized, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. During the tour, there are several relaxing breaks, allowing you to enjoy the view and take great photos. The stop at a traditional tavern, where there was really delicious food, was especially nice. The mix of adventure, fun, and relaxing moments was perfect. Thank you very much to the entire team – you really made our vacation special. Absolute recommendation!

Having had a day out with this crew before, we were confident that we would have another good day out. We were not disappointed! From receiving personal messages around the pick up time and location, to the guide being bang on time everything started off brilliantly. After a briefing session at Rhodes Adventures hq, we set off in convoy with 7 other vehicles at a relaxed pace and no urgency from the guide driver to try and rush things along. They were patient and courteous all day allowing time for photos and selfies along the way as and when required. Their knowledge and history of the stop off points was just the right level of information, without becoming overloaded or boring. The instructions given on driving in the rougher and wetter areas was excellent, and at no time were we concerned for safety or unnecessary risks being taken. A lunch stop was arranged, and although this was an options l extra cost, €15.00 each for 3 courses was excellent value and the delicious food was cooked freshly to order. At the end of the day, we were delivered safely back to our hotel, and thanked personally by our guide for going out with them. One bonus for us was meeting Stavros again, as he was our driver back in 2018 when we last went out with Rhodes Adventures. Thank you a Stavros and crew, we had a brilliant day out 10/10

A great experience to drive a jeep through Rhodes. Offroad, super offroad and sometimes primitive driving across the road. Many corners were really tricky but it was huge fun. Thanks matteo

Had a great day! Beautiful route through the beautiful mountain scenery of Northern Rhodes. The team that was with us did a really nice job, thanks Simos and Dinos! Greetings from Heike, Kiona and Wilco .

Fun humorous guides, cheer up the trip with chitchat and jokes. Returned to hotel, even though this was not provided. Nice course with distant views from the mountains, also driven through piece of river. Nice food for 15€ pp with drinks included, friendly reception and service. End with a refreshing swim on a beautiful beach to wash away the dust. Tip: maybe possible to work with intercom and explain via loudspeakers carriage about what is interesting instead of during the stops. Although this can also cause disturbances or distractions when driving. But guides good and have a lot to say so mss would be an idea 🤷‍♂️

We were very excited for this amazing day out, however the pictures are very misleading. You do not get to drive an open top 4x4 which we expected. When questioning this, we were informed that they aren’t allowed to rent them anymore. This makes the picture very misleading. We were told all vehicles had air conditioning, however ours was not working. Which with two children aged 10 and 12 wasn’t ideal at all. This meant my wife had to sit in the back to allow the children to have the breeze coming in sitting in the front. This wasn’t ideal at all either. When questioning this we were simply told “sorry, nobody told us”. We were told it would be 80% off road driving, however it was more like 50/50. When we stopped at the ice cream and coffee place, we were overcharged compared to the family next to us who ordered more, yet we paid double what they did. The restaurant stop was ok, food was average. Staff there friendly but someone else with us another family got charged 30 euros more than anyone else. The beach was stop was lovely, and the staff at the bar across the road welcoming and polite. Not expensive either. We also feel being a guided tour, we would have had more information about what was going on and what certain places were but other than that pretty much left to just follow. Don’t get us wrong, we had a good day, the tour guides were friendly and views were beautiful. Just feel let down by the quality.

The best adventure on Rhodes, beautiful nature, very good organization with Simos and Cecile as the best tour guides that we ever had!! Definitelly worth the money!

This safari tour was an excellent experience. The guides of the tour are great, and adventurous. Nice planned tour, interesting stop places, great lunch. I highly recommend it.

A fantastic day, I recommend to tour, pass in the mountains in small villages, which ends with a beach/bar moment

It was a great experience. You drive in a group of up to 8 Suzuki Jimmys (no open roof) through the terrain and the hinterland. There are several small stops for taking pictures and a larger stop for lunch. The food was super delicious and costs 15 euros per person. Closing is a 45-minute break to Seven Springs. Really worth seeing. If you don't want to drive yourself, you're sitting in the back slightly cramped with other driving participants. You should know that. But it was really fun, the two guides were great.
