Rainbow Row refere-se à fileira de casas históricas em tons pastel localizadas na East Bay Street, ao longo da Battery. Como um dos locais mais emblemáticos de Charleston, você pode visitar esta área em qualquer dia e ver casais tirando fotos para noivados ou casamentos, junto com um bando de turistas tentando tirar uma boa fotografia das casas deslumbrantes.
Datado do final do século 18, o Charleston City Market é um marco histórico nacional que abrange quatro quarteirões da cidade. Lar de mais de 300 vendedores diários, este é um dos maiores e mais antigos mercados públicos do país.
Fort Sumter é um forte marítimo construído em uma ilha artificial que protege Charleston, Carolina do Sul, de uma invasão naval. Sua origem remonta à Guerra de 1812, quando os britânicos invadiram Washington por mar. Ainda estava incompleto em 1861, quando a Batalha de Fort Sumter começou a Guerra Civil Americana. A estrutura atual já foi parte de um complexo de edifícios conhecido como Ryan's Mart. O complexo tinha um pátio fechado com muro de tijolos, um prédio de quatro andares que continha um "barracão" ou prisão de escravos, uma cozinha e um necrotério. Visitaremos e contaremos histórias sobre o mercado, mas não entraremos.
A Igreja Congregacional Circular de Charleston, SC foi fundada em 1681 e é uma das mais antigas congregações de adoração contínua no sul. Passaremos, mas não entraremos.
Localizado no coração do distrito histórico de Charleston, este marco proeminente oferece uma vista espetacular de Fort Sumter e Charleston Harbour, onde os rios Ashley e Cooper desaguam no Oceano Atlântico. Foi usado pela primeira vez como jardim público em 1837. Com a eclosão da Guerra Civil, tornou-se uma fortificação para a cidade.

What a fantastic serendipitous evening: we booked last minute (only about an hour and a half ahead of time when our booking for a different tour fell through)… When we arrived at the meeting point, we found out that even though the booking was last minute and we were the only two people, Paul had nonetheless rushed down to meet us in order to give the tour. Paul wad engaging, witty, an excellent storyteller, and all-around exceptional ambassador for the culture, history, and quirky stories of Charleston (we even spent the evening competing to see who could work in the most groan worthy puns into the conversation). Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful tour with Bree! She had many interesting stories that were indeed scary and fun. One note - even if the tour ticket says 80 Broad - you need to meet your guide in the park next door.

It was just me and my sister on the tour due to a storm that scared off everyone else. Nonetheless our tour guide John made the experience fun and memorable. John knew so much about Charleston’s history and we enjoyed the way he told the spooky ghost stories! Highly recommend!

We had an engaging evening. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the city. His family history and first hand experiences gave our tour a special touch. John was attentive, had a great sense of humor, and made us all feel welcome. We loved our Revolutionary Charleston ghost tour.

This was my first ghost tour and it was amazing. I was worried it might be cheesy, but it was not. Brie was our tour guide, and she was fantastic! She gave us all the history, stories, and secrets of Charleston. She’s a fantastic story teller and kept us mesmerized the entire time. HIGHLY recommend!!

We had so much fun on our ghost tour led by Sarah. The time flew by and I could have easily enjoyed another hour and a 1/2. I was yearning for more stories based on Sarah's humor and enthusiasm. We learned a lot & smiled and laughed along the way. Great job Sarah!
