Real Dublin Tradicional Music Pub Tour

Exactly as advertised. Sean was a great guide and our three stops were all different styles, but gave us a really nice introduction to traditional Irish music all around. From loud and crowded to quiet and laid back, we got the range. And when we talked with other locals days after our tour, they unanimously agreed that all 3 of our stops were among the ones they would frequent. We'd go back to any of our stops again if we had the chance. Very nice tour experience all around.

Sean did a great job showing us some great music in Dublin away from the typical Temple Bar scene. He was very knowledgeable and made this a really cool experience! This is a great night out in Dublin!

Our guide, David, was very passionate sbout music and very knowledgeable about traditional Irish music! Which made the tour interesting and fun! He took us to 3 different pubs where it’s just locals, which provided us an authentic experience. We heard great music! Loved his sense of humor and his hospitality was awesome!

After a small snafu with our start time, David provide a wonderful experience. He is very knowledgeable. Our second stop was especially enjoyable with less people.

David was the guide for the tour. He did an excellent job getting us introduced to each other and there was warmth from the beginning. So even as a solo traveler I felt like I belonged. He gave an introduction to Irish music, that was just the right amount of history to help with the significance of the music, but not so much that it was overwhelming. We went to three different pubs off the beaten path and listened to a variety of music, as well as saw an Irish dancer. The tour was excellent, I highly recommend it!

This tour was the highlight of our time in Dublin. Our guide Sean, a local trad Irish musician, is deeply rooted in the traditional music of Ireland and the affects its had on many forms of American music. The pubs he took us too and the musicians we watched are the definition of authentic. No cheap touristy nonsense here. Just authentic Jigs and Reels (he’ll explain the difference) played by real local musicians who gather to preserve and celebrate their gift to the world. Extra points: we had a member of our group with mobility issues and he was attentive and accommodating allowing them to have a full experience. If you love music of any genre or style this is an absolute must for you.

Neal (but spelled the Gaelic way) has such a contagious love of Traditional Irish Music that we couldn’t help but come away with a deep appreciation ourselves. In addition to being a fantastic storyteller and engaging teacher, Neal has an amazing gift for creating camaraderie among the tour group which immensely adds to the fun! Highly, highly recommend!

This is a Traditional Irish Music Tour and this is truly what was provided to us. We went to 3 Pubs and all of them were fantastic. Kieron the Tour Guide was wonderful and provided tremendous insight into traditional Irish Music but also into why traditional music has such a hold in Ireland. There is some walking involved but not a lot and we loved walking from pub to pub. The people on the tou with us were also wonderful. A must do in Dublin.

So much fun and so informative. David was the perfect guide! Met wonderful folks from other parts of the world and it thoroughly enhanced our Dublin experience.
