We spent the day in Rawalpindi enjoying the sights and sounds of the old city bustling with character, a glimpse into a way of life long ago. There were plenty of photo opportunities of exotic foods, with people and buying and selling. Maqsood was an informative guide with many insights on the local way of life. He was also flexible with the tour bringing us to a couple places in Islamabad and helping me with an administrative chore. It was a day well spent. In the summer do bring your hat and sunscreen.

Maqsood was a master guide for this wonderful day out in Rawalpindi. Very interesting and informative and we felt very well looked after. Particularly enjoyed the fruit and vegetable markets with amazing photo opportunities throughout the day. Delicious lunch including brain masala - a first for me!
