Rarotonga Cruzeiro Especial

Fairly disorganised and waited around for over an hour with no guidance waiting for tide to drop. Snorkelling gear was good, but current was still strong. The truck driver took us around the island going back at the request of those onboard. I gave him $20USD for his effort.

Booked a tour from cruise ship. Amazing turtles, not a private tour, 48 in group, have to walk back thru coral (need to be fit), head guy very rude. Paid too much to include transfers from ship, than transfer an hour late to pick us up. Book direct as only $89 nzd and catch local bus. Promised amazing photos, not great and only 6 photos of 8 of us.

One of a kind experience. To see these majestic turtles and spotted eagle rays in the wild and so close was so unique and memorable. Josh and. Charlotte were the perfect hosts and always making sure we were safe and having a good time.

Great communication on what time and where to pick up vehicle at the port. Family owned business - owner explained the route to take to see the turtles and rays. His wife took pictures of us on land and his crew took underwater pictures. Great experience.

Massive thank you to Josh, Charlotte, baby Bronte and your brand new twin bubbas..and also Nan who prepared some delicious Paw Paw for us. My family were in Rarotonga to celebrate my sisters 60th birthday and it was her dream to experience swimming with the turtles. Josh was amazing, he took the time to go through what to expect, drew a map of the channel in the sand and checked everyone's gear was on properly. Im not a strong swimmer and he made us feel so safe and he made it possible for me to enjoy the beautiful 🐢 turtles with my family. It was our first excursion to do and remained the Absolute highlight of our trip to Rarotonga. And we all now have stunning photos with the turtles and family photos to treasure of our magical day. I highly recommend choosing Snorkle Cook Islands to have your swimming with the turtles experience.

This was an unforgettable experience: swimming in the middle of this beautiful underwater world along the passage, together with fish of all sizes and colors, turtles and even rays, not to mention the multitude of different corals. Josh and his crew were wonderful guides, very competent, friendly and well trained. It was an exceptional fun day for our group of stranded tourists. I strongly recommend!

We couldn’t have had a better experience on this trip. My husband and I are both certified divers, and originally were concerned that this would a “beginners” trip, but were thrilled with the experience. Josh and the team were great: knowledgeable and safety conscious,and by having them guide us, they were able to point out things we might have missed on our own. We saw myriad rays, turtles and varied fish, plus gorgeous corals. The lovely fruit refreshments back on shore completed a lovely trip. Thank you so much.

This was the best way to see how beautiful Rarotonga is by snorkel! Josh and the team made us feel safe, comfortable and most important made it so much fun! Our guides knew so much about what we were seeing and knew exactly where to go to see the best things. They pointed out many turtles, fish, eel, eagle ray and more! 10/10 recommend Snorkel Cook Islands!
