Ramen fazendo a partir do zero – Tokyo Ultimate Cooking Class

Tour started out with visiting two markets to see the wonderful fresh food here in Tokyo. We then moved to the kitchen, everything was laid out for us and English was spoken well. We made traditional ramen but was tailored for our vegetarian needs. Making the pasta/ramen, was very fun and enjoyable. Wonderful tour with great people.

We had a wonderful time at the cooking class. Tamae and Saori explained everything clearly and were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout. They even taught us a few Japanese words, which made the experience even more special. We marinated the pork belly, made the ramen noodles from scratch, and prepared the ramen broth ourselves. At the end, we were able to enjoy the delicious ramen we had created. It was a truly interesting and rewarding experience. We would highly recommend this cooking class to anyone!

My family had a great time shopping with Bunga and making ramen with Satomi and Tamae! It was a great way to learn a little bit more about Japanese culture while having fun and eating some delicious ramen.

We had a wonderful time with Mikiko and Misato for an enjoyable family experience. On Christmas Day! An excellent walking tour of the area, including a cool look inside the Japanese grocery store scene. The ride on the train was a little surprisingly long. But not a problem. New areas to visit! When it came to cooking time. So much fun and very well organized. Highly recommend for a fun way of eating a healthy lunch meal and feel a little closer to the Tokyo living experience too. Thank you!

Ramen is my son’s favorite food so a trip to Japan had to include a ramen cooking class. We specifically wanted to make ramen from scratch In Tokyo and this fit the bill, the fee was comparable to other classes in the area. Booking was extremely easy online, and subsequent communications with Saori from Patia was also easy, as it was conducted in English. Saori was courteous, helpful, and prompt in response, and we were given detailed directions on the class location, and were supplied with a local phone number and WhatsApp contact information in case of emergency. The classroom was easily accessible from the metro. The classroom was bright, spacious, and clean. Our host, Hiroko, was very inviting, kind, and patient, our entire class was conducted in English. To our pleasant surprise, while we were there on a Wednesday during peak season in July, our family was the only group booked that afternoon, so we had private class! All the ingredients and tools were already prepared for us. My 14 and 12 year old kids were able to perform every task, and I felt it was a safe environment. Hiroko gave simple and clear instructions and included commentary on Japanese culture while we cooked. There was plenty of time to take photos. When it was time to eat our creation, we were amazed at how tasty our ramen was, even though it was our first time attempting to make ramen! We spent about 2 hours in class, and at the conclusion, we were given the recipe as a souvenir. This was one of my favorite memories from our trip to Japan.

This was a fantastic experience! We had a large group of ~15 people with some unique dietary requirements and despite the complexity of that, they were able to accomodate us. Always on point, professional and responsive! The ramen was just as good as the experience itself and on top of that we got some amazing pictures :)

Had a lovely walk through Akihabara and learned about another side Tokyo, visited a supermarket to learn about components of ramen and then caught a train to the cooking class and was guided through steps very easily. A lovely experience.

Great time with our group of 11 - and so delicious. They also accommodated our dietary needs really easily. We loved it! Would highly recommend.

it was amazing to make a bowl of ramen from scratch! good for the soul, when your meal is made with your bare hands. even better when you can share the experience with family. mahalo!
