Se você já quis fazer seu próprio chocolate ou aprender todas as maravilhosas complexidades e processos envolvidos na criação do deleite favorito do mundo, esta é a aula para você! Em 2 horas você viajará pelo tempo: da história da árvore, aos mitos, ao papel muito real e importante que o cacau e o chocolate desempenham nas culturas da Mesoamérica. E, claro, você também vai fazer chocolate. Desde tentar a fruta crua (quando disponível), até assar, moer e separar a casca das pontas, você estará trabalhando como um profissional fazendo chocolate ganhando Prêmio. Você aprenderá alguns dos usos medicinais incríveis do chocolate antes de fazer seu próprio chocolate 'medicina' para levar para casa. Finalmente, você temperará o chocolate fundido fresco derramado e você fará sua própria barra para envolver e desfrutar mais tarde. Há passeios de chocolate em todo o mundo, mas esta é uma verdadeira experiência de mãos dadas - você vai ter chocolate em você! Uma aula divertida e deliciosa!

Owner/teacher has incredible knowledge of the cacao history in Puerto Viejo. The class was hands on bringing us through the cacao pod process to making our own chocolate bars. I highly recommend this class! Such fun!

We had a great experience! It started a little slow as she had locked keys inside, and we had to wait for someone to bring keys, but we learned a lot and had a good time. Ansel (sp?) is very knowledgable! And we got to make our own chocolate! Thank you, Ansel!
