Nesta excursão de 10 horas vamos visitar uma bela colônia de pinguins, além da mágica Ilha Chiloe. Essa excursão sai diariamente, no início da manhã a partir de Puerto Montt.

Itinerário
Começamos o passeio em direção a Pargua, ao sul da cidade de Puerto Varas; aqui vamos a bordo de uma balsa para navegar pelo Canal de Chacao, este canal separa o continente da Ilha de Chiloé. Durante a navegação, vemos lobos marinhos, pelicanos e aves marinhas endêmicas nesta área. Os ancoradouros de balsa no píer de Chacao, aqui vemos as casas construídas com madeira de Alerce e as Igrejas que são Patrimônio Nacional.
em seguida, continue ao longo de uma rota costeira e vamos visitar a praia de Caulín, um lugar muito famoso pelas ostras e uma rica fauna marinha.
depois iremos para a praia de Puñihuil; lá pegamos um barco, que nos levará a uma pequena ilha onde encontramos o pinguim de Magalhães e o Pinguim de Humboldt, este é o lugar onde estas duas espécies fazem seus ninhos, e durante gerações conviveram juntas, tornando este único lugar no mundo onde isso acontece. O guia nos explicará o modo de vida dessas aves, o entorno e a abundância de alimentos que possibilitam que essas ilhas se transformem em um paraíso selvagem. É importante dizer que o Puñihuil foi declarado Patrimônio Nacional por sua relevância ecológica.
O forte de San Antonio; este lugar histórico está localizado na parte mais alta da cidade, construída na última parte do século XVIII e faz parte de uma das últimas incursões espanholas em nosso país,
Depois continuamos nossa viagem à cidade de Ancud, onde podemos ver a Fundação do Patrimônio das Igrejas Locais, a Praça da Alimentação e o Mercado Central, este oferece muitas opções gastronômicas e artesanais da ilha.

Excellent tour to the island of Chiloe. Great - if distant- views of the Andes. Interesting towns. Penguins and other birdlife. Delicious lunch. Outstanding guide.
Right on time for pickup, Jenny made small modifications to the order of the tour to get us the best opportunities for the best experience. Jenny speaks fluent English and kept her English speaking passengers well informed with information and local atories. Alex kept us safe on the road.
We had a very good experience on the tour, everything very beautiful, the guide very clear when explaining and the journey times were punctual
Stop in small town was cute. Advise to wear warm and waterproof clothing for the penguin portion - you transfer to a small boat. You do have the option to leave things on the bus which is nice. The food you have to pay for due to no other options was not good - bring snacks. The last stop was unnecessary in a town that was mostly shut down. The bus itself was very very very nice and comfortable.
Chiloe Island visiting Penguins in Puñihuil was a fantastic day out led by Jenny. Jenny kept us fully informed of all the activates and had very good customer service. Her organisation skills were second to none and i / we can fully recommend this amazing day out.
We could see the penguins very close. During the ferry I could see 3 seals. Lunch was good and at a very fair price with dessert and coffee. Overall a long trip and Jenny talks continuously throughout the journey
Was a great day.. The tour guide (Jenny) was FANTASTIC.. very personable, easy to understand, very informative and flexible with folks who ran a little late..
This was a great excursion, and it was a very comfortable and not too exhausting. There is a lot to see in Chiloe, and the tour guide did a great job of making sure everything was clear. The penguins were great and adorable, and every stop was worthwhile.
Probably an 8.5/10. Good communication to arrange pick up and then the evening before. Fun boat ride and interesting to see the penguins on their islands. First stop in a quaint village square and good views from the last stop at the fort. Good to see some of the island, but inevitably quite a lot of driving and didn’t see the need for a second craft shopping experience. Need to factor in the boat trip and lunch costs, although these were mentioned beforehand. Think the info. beforehand also mentioned a max. of 14 in the group, but this doubled.
Even though the distance that I needed to travel was quite long, the others were increíble. The guys(Javier, Eric) were super friendly, penguins were extremely cute and the overall of Chiloe was more than I expected. Highly recommend
